No ones talking down to you, what were saying is with 5 gallon buckets on average each bucket is gonna need close to 2 Sqf so at 36 Sqf there's only about enough room for 18 maybe 20 buckets.even at 1 Sqf its still only gonna fit 36 buckets

Ease up man.

You don't exactly sound like a man with a plan. A man with an idea maybe... But not a plan... I like the idea of running 4 600s. Heat is gonna still be a bitch.

If all you are gunning for is a zip, maybe plan on running 2-3 gallon pots- you should still pull 2 zips per plant give or take- as long as you keep them in point. If they aren't on point all that root space won't help anyway- plus lighter, easier to shuffle around- probably less branching- easier for a SOG.

What auto strains have you run so far?

Or just grow a low quantity of healthy, we'll cared for trees, instead of a legion of sub-par dwarfplants.

:tiphat:

It's time to clean this up, lets chill on the language...... Don't make me step in on a serious note.

Why the need for 50 plants, why not grow 20 nice ones, your final yield if all grown properly isnt going to be that far short of 50 dwarfed plants, that arent gettting enough light..

And your first post yesterday is 2 x 1000watt enough for 50-100 plants :WTF:

Well its certainly not impossible. I started with about 20 in a 1x1 meter tent ( a little bit more than 3x3 foot ), very easy to upscale.
But mind you, I would never even attempt this, if I had commercial interests.
In my humble opinion SOG only pays off in Coco or using hydroponic systems.
On soil I would always go for bigger pots, less plants. One plant for every 1.5 square foot are usually nice.
:tiphat:

EDIT :Sorry guys I suck @ non-metric systems. I meant about 45-50cm x 45-50cm/ one big ass plant.
But some form of training is necessary to use the space effectively.

Just seems someone who wants to grow as many plants under a light as cheaply and as quickly as they can, with no real care about quality just quantity and how much they can make in return, I am not in that game so just wish stillsmoking all the best with his grow,
