How many autos in a 2x4x5 tent?

Starting my first auto grow soon and need advice on how many plants I can fit in my setup.

Setup:

2x4x5 Vivosun tent
4inch 203cfm Vivosun ventilation kit w/speed control and carbon filter
4inch duct silencer
2-6inch clip fans (2-speed)
3gal smartpots
2-3500k Auto cobs
Biobizz light mix

Nutrients are Gbd's super soil amendment supplemented with recharge ,mammoth p, go - calmag and bio-thrive bloom if needed .
Strains to choose from:

Height will become an issue, so be prepared.
One of my tents was 2 x 4 ft, and 6' 7" tall, but I still had to get a 1 ft extension to accommodate plants.
Bending them over won't work when there's no room for that, so you might be forced to top the plants.

I've got 2 plants in a 2 x 4 hydro tent, and the canopy fills the whole tent. That gives each plant 4 square feet.
Putting 3 plants in would give each plant a 16" x 24" space = 2.7 square feet, which can work.
In another tent 3 x 3 x 8 ft, I've got 4 plants, each getting 2.25 square feet of canopy area, but it's a jungle in there.

Those of us who love variety, and don't want a huge operation, are forced to overcrowd when testing strains.

if you only have two auto cobs, I would run one plant under each, and pick my strains wisely. I have a very simar set up. 2*4*5 with 2 auto cobs and 2 auto pots. I'm on day 75 and st this point, I know now thst I could not have fit a third in there like I originally planned.

My last 2x4 tent I grew 3 plants under two mass built led lights. My Autocob (have 6) mantra is....one cob for one plant

I run that size I do 2 in 5 gal. I have done 6 in 3 gal and way to tight. Even 3 was not enough room. I train the shit out of mine lst, supercropping, I've topped too. With that said my current broke free of her lst and now stand- 35" from soil. It's about 2" below my autocobs. Shes split in between 2 so she doesn't sit right below. So if in a 5gal she can grow that tall in there, 3gal you can get a few more. I recommend if doing 2 do 5gal you can max the ability of root space over a 3. I'd said 7gal but if you do a good job they will get more than likely to big. Also you wont have to water as often. I've gone back and forth with 3&5 gal I like doing 5. With that said my biggest yield came out of a 3gal but it was topped and was just big from seed throughout. Try different sizes from grow to grow and see what works for you. Everyone has a comfort zone bud. All about trying things, that part of the fun. I run 3 autocobs on 2 plants.

I have an approximately 2x4 stealth cabinet, much shorter than you. Two plants can get pretty crowded if they a thriving and getting big. Under two autocobs I'd run two plants or maybe shoot for a big pot ant grow one monster.

Could easily do a perpetual grow with that tent. LST and super cropping is going to be on the agenda..guaranteed. I run the same tent but have four autocob. Started with two. Three plants with perpetual..as one comes out another is right behind in in about 30 days

i have the same size tent and ive got four autos in 3 gallon containers. seems to be plenty of room but then it also depends on the genetics. two blue cheese (dinafem) and two girl scout cookies (fastbuds).

I’ve got 4 plants in a 3x3 vivosun, and it’s a jungle in there! I practically need a shoehorn and Vaseline to get em in and out. Wish I had room for the 4x4 tents *sigh*

I have a couple 10 gal fabric pots would like to do 1 in my got some white widow xxl maybe in a scrog. Ya 5 gal seem to be the sweet spot, 2 of them but careful not to do to good of job or quickly outgrow you'll become.
