New Grower How good is Coco for Growing?

With Coco you only use smaller Pots if you plan on watering frequently. It's best to stick to the 3,4 and 5 gallon pots in my opinion. If you got a big 5 gallon fabric pot you could water like soil probably every 3 days when the plant is mature.

Good but the plants getting Huge in that Big pots

Someone expiriance with this Coco???

I always buy mine in compressed bricks like that. I buy the Coco teck from General Hydroponics but they're available in my area. The reason I like them is some hydro shops and warehouses will store their soil and their Coco outside and you can get bugs in a bale of coco. it's very rare but there have been a few Grow shops in my state that I've actually been able to do that.

You really want the tallest tent that will fit in your space with Coco. You can train your plants smaller and you can water in a way that keeps them smaller, but that can sometimes be a little bit easier said than done. Another thing to consider is you always want to have run off when you water Coco. So the best thing to do is have your pot elevated a little bit with something to catch the water underneath making sure your plant can reabsorb the runoff. That means you need a little extra height for whatever kind of tray you have or you're going to have to take your plant out of your tent water it and put it back in, which I've done and works okay. You can easily use up half your tent height just in the light spacing and the top of your pot to the bottom of your tent.

I buy coco from the pet store the terrerium stuff, seems to be more consistant. Always clean. And its only like 8 bucks for a kilo broken into 3 bricks

If you want easy growing I recommend Biotabs. @Hippy_BiotabsF70 is the guy to speak to about them. I'm using them with coco for the first time and it's sooooo simple. No pH check. No EC check. Just water and let em grow [emoji4]

Oh really wow

Do you mean this?

Hello mate, yep they're the ones

Thanks @KrazyDave :pass:

I can thoroughly recommend Biotabs + Coco + Autopots mate. Or just Biotabs and coco. Such an easy system to use, fully organic, and the products are derived from sustainable sources such as chicken poop

What country are you based in buddy? I might just be able to sort you out with a free starter pack (for 5 plants) if you fancy giving Biotabs a go? You will love the growing system and you will love the awesome quality of the finished organic product. Great yields in coco and autopots too.
