Hi everybody! :)

I´ve been thinking and reading about the L.S.T-method lately. I have always been interested in that technique. The best thing about it is that it´s practicly harmless to the plant based on what i have read.

I am planning on binding down one of my 2 week old Lowryder F1 (original) plants. I have 4 total. They are rooted and doing fine. Maybe i accidentally overfed them a week ago. The tips of the larger leaves is kind of burned. But other then that they have a great growth.

But what i was thinking is that maybe it is too soon? What do you think? Should i wait?

Here´s a pic of the choosen one.

Here is a pic of them all together.

I am thinking that i could tie the base, and the middle of the stem. And leave it like that for maybe a week or so, and then tie the rest down after it have grown a little bit bigger.

Feedback?

Good night. :) /H.

No harm in starting them young, just be gentle and don't pull them over too much at a time. Do a little one day, then a little more the next, and so on.

One thing to consider, since you have 3 others that you aren't going to LST, the one you do will be farther away from your light than the other 3.

I thought about that, Muddy. And i am going to keep the trained one on a kind of germination-thing. It will be the same height as the others. I have one 6 weeks old thats much smaller then the others, so i keep her on a pile of clay-potplates.

I was thinking about in what week that you should put the plants under HPS light? I understand that the autoflowering strains don´t really bloom until the sixth week. Then i should keep these plants under my CFL for four more weeks?
I have also read that when the show their sex they should go under the red light.

Could someone straighten out some questionmarks for me?

/H.

:howdy:bro just as muddy say abit a time and train her,the light you could keep them under CFL for 4 week, then move them under the flowering light,i put my under after a week just keep the light hight up to start them of, them girls well sooon pick up :D,and thery be fine, look forward to see how you do bro,:peace:

I move mine under my flowering lights as soon as they sex and I get them transplanted, usually around 3 1/2 or 4 weeks. They will get some small buds, called pre flowers, but won't go into full bloom till sometime between week 5 and 6. Even if you move them at 4 weeks they will be fine under the HPS.
