I live on a lot of land with chickens and horses i have been composting both types of manure together and i have been wondering if anyone has used either types of manures with autoflowers, if so please share! Also share your organic soil mixures.

Here's the super soil recipe I just mixed up for my outdoor crop this year.

4 bags Roots organic
2 bags bio bizz light
worm castings
Espom salt
granulated azomite
dolomite lime
fish bone meal
blood meal
crab meal
hf bat guano

This is subcool's recipe I modified from TGA seeds btw.

I've used both, but not together. I'm not a big fan of horse manure since they don't digest the weed seeds. Chicken manure is about the best, next to rabbit, and can be hot if not well composted. I usually mix it with sphagnum peat moss and perlite, about 1/3 of each. Here's some more info on different manures: https://www.autoflower.org/f42/manure-information-1967.html

Thanks for the input guys im most likely gonna go with peat mosss, my composted manure and castings and probably throw in some azomite. Ive also been reading the book teaming with microbes so im also gonna be using compost teas once or twice during the grow. I also wanna try some type of mycorrihizae, have you ever grown any autos with beneficial fungi muddy? Im gonna be growing mi5, i know that you have grown these.. is there anything in particular i should know bout these plants?

I use myco all the time. Pro Mix contains a starter charge and I also add more when I transplant. They are especially effective in organic mixes. I would also suggest using some humic/folic acid in your mix. It can be purchased in powered form and added to your mix, or fed as part of your nutrient regime in liquid form. It will help to break down your organic matter to better feed the fungi.

Just know that Mi5 grows great, yields well and is a great, well balanced smoke. Growing in Pro Mix I've run into some slight N deficiencies in early veg, and some P deficiencies well into flowering. But in your mix I doubt you'll run into them. I'm sure they will do great for you.

thanks for your help muddy, much appreciated. What soil mixture have you been using?
