Natural fade starting on the leaves coincidentally the very same day I start plain water flush. Nice. Side branches starting to fall against the walls.. might have to sort that.. don't want no mould!!
Line it with kitchen foil mate, cheap quick and easy lolThe last wee IRN bean didn't make it.. but we have the 4 we want..

My little set-up only draws 240W from the wall and is plenty in a 2x4. My last grow gave me just under 2.5g per watt.A few musings about watts.. lights.. ppfd.. dli and all that jazz.. 1st off.. hard to believe I've been growing for more than a decade without paying any attention to this topic and I'm absolutely by no means an expert but.. in brief.. it seems that its not just a case of stuffing as many watts into your tent as u can. I always thought the more watts the better.. but really its about 'coverage'.. are your plants getting the coverage they need.. yea? Are your ppfd/dli figures on the money.. yea??
I have 400w (at the wall) of light in my 80cm tent. I'm going to half that as soon as the GG is out by taking my 200w solar flare out and leaving the Skyline 400 hanging on its own.. the Skyline provides well enough light for my space.. so we'll see how it goes.. and if it works well.. I'll cry over how much electric I've wasted over a period of many years.
Also I'm hoping that the drop to 1 light will help greatly with my conditions.. I want to keep temps where they should be.. or at least close.. to many periods at over 30c in the tent with 2 lights up.. as high as 33c at times. I'd like to try and get a grow done keeping temps in optimal range if possible!!
If anyone has anything to add.. or correct.. or anything to say at all on the subject please pipe up.. debate/exchange of info is always welcome in Hopes house.
Going by what u just said and vids I’ve watched (Shane @ migro and old Brucey boy lol) optimal growing conditions doesn’t always mean more wattage like u said, I would say it’s a combination, perfect light coverage, perfect temps & humidity, (I still don’t understand dli and all that) but personally as long as them 3 are spot on it’s optimalA few musings about watts.. lights.. ppfd.. dli and all that jazz.. 1st off.. hard to believe I've been growing for more than a decade without paying any attention to this topic and I'm absolutely by no means an expert but.. in brief.. it seems that its not just a case of stuffing as many watts into your tent as u can.
