The fact that the defol tent yielded better but not by much was the smaller point imo.. The no fluffy buds versus 3 odd ounces of fluff on the non defol tent was the biggy! Surely that's proof that letting light down into the plants and removing bottom leaves and stragglers firms up that fluff.

Indeed, the fluffy bud makes all the difference, i also think it was quite well proven how important the light penetration is early on in the experiment when the lower leafs of the normal tent went all pale and sad, even though we know, its good to get proof. :smoking:

Great comparison!
From experience there was no doubt in my mind which one would be the winner. I don’t count larfy fluff bud so in my opinion the defoliated tent yielded 40% more than the naturally grown tent.
