Update Day 74. The ride is almost over. Land HO!

Well the 4 Blue Mystics I harvested are almost ready for the jar. I included a bud pic. Also some pics of my Monster Big Bang I harvested 2 days ago and her twin sister pre trim and after a rough trim. She's still in soil as I type but is coming out tonight. Check out the porn. Hope you guys enjoyed the ride with the Captain. Still a few more updates to come and some ice hash but were just about there.

Heres my smoke report on the Blue Mystic. If a mod wants to move it to strain review or me to re write it there just let me know.

Seedbank: Nirvana

Strain: Auto Blue Mystic

Did it Auto: Yes

Soil/Hydro: Soil

Nute: Monster Grow/ Monster Bloom, Organic Sea Kelp Burpee 0-15-11, shooting powder, molasses and soil amendments.

Light: 600 hortilux HPS. 18/6

Seed to harvest: 10 weeks to 10 1/2

Harvest: 4 plants varied. Average around 25 grams.

Scale * bad to ***** good

Bag appeal: ***** Fluffy yet solid, Covered in trichomes it is god like. 1/8s look like quarters and so on. Very good looking bud some showing a purple/blue hue

Growth:**** showed Pre flowers after 20 days. Violently flowered from there on out. I had 2 phenos 3 shorter stocky plants with nice fat colas that were between 23-30 inches tall and 1 bush that had 20 side branches 3 feet tall and barely any fan leaves. A doll to trim.


Smell:***** very skunky and fruity. Overpowering aroma while trimming and the smell of breaking up a dry nug takes over a room in seconds. Almost like a skunk sprayed a bag of skittles.

Smoke: **** good lung expansion, can promote coughing fits. Taste is skunky on the inhale with berry aftertones. Very nice.

High:**** a slight burst if energy from the gate along with a happy giggly type high ending with a need to sit down with a bag of cheetos. Have a supply of snacks handy. Very good for anxiety, depression or anorexia.

Yea I read a lot of bad review 2010 prior about Nirvana autos and the Blue Mystic. But every review 2010 on was very good. After the re worked the strain I seen nothing but positive reviews and that helped aid me in my decision. I was not disappointed at all. They grew exactly like I thought they would and exactly like everything I read. From
Yield to trichome coverage to smell and all. Even the Big Bangs in the above photo were spot on. They grew big and were very hardy. This grow was 100% successful. I ran into zero
Problems and everything went exactly as planned. I can attribute some of that to experience but as a whole they were very good plants and very resilient to anything thrown there way. I would highly recommend the Big Bang to new growers. The Mystics require a little more attention but them Bangs are like throw and grow seeds. Obviously I treated them very good but after growing them a couple different times I know they can withstand light or heavy feeding and hot and cold temps without really skipping a beat. I had a few nights my 1st run of big bangs that the temp dropped to 30/40 degree F and were as strong as an Ox. I will be doing another auto grow after this photo run mist likely around May. I got a good amount of photo seeds from my outdoor run last summer and want to go big with 1000 watts and get these out of the way. I'm going to give AFN strains a run after that. Most likely whatever I can get my hands on IDE like to try something new but if I can't I'll go with dragons most likely. Want to get my hands on them ALF but there not in the shop yet. Well see after this photo run what's available.
