New Grower Honey's Journey

Yes, i filled my 3 gallon soft pots with biobizz light mix. Then i poured 3 cups wateron each, slowly and in circles. Going to let it sit and "cook" before putting in seeds. Prolly about 6 days. The cooking is just letting all the organisms come to life and get busy doing their thing. Several people are doing grows in different styles in the kindsoil thread. Will be interesting! :smokeout:

Okay so the method I used was recommended I can't remember by who but deff doesn't work for me. I cut my plants down leaving them whole. I did this 24 hr then I places in jars for 24hrs then back in the tent on paper bags for 24 he's an then in jars with broveda pack. I just got my mini meters and it went up to 89 humidity so out of the jars on paper bags. My tent rh is 49 so I'm guessing 4-5 days in tent then into jars with broveda pack. I'm starting to hate the drying and curing process. Maybe I'll stick with the closed paper bags next time.. lesson learned. Any advice will help

How did you cure?

I cut plant down, trim it up and place the buds in the paper bags and I hang them from my tent ceiling down.... Leave it for 3-7 days, humidity depends how long. Final trim if needed, then into jars with boveda packs for few weeks burping. Others such as TaNg use this he has a sticky on it in the curing section.

I cut my plants and hung upside down in my tent for 24 hrs. Then I put them in jars for 24 hrs. I removed from the jar an laid on paper bag in the tent for 24 hrs. After that back in a jar with broveda 62. So after looking around and some people helping me. I took them out of the jars an back in the tent. My tent rh was 49% at the time. I left them in their for two days. They feel really dry some of them. I was afraid of over drying so I stuck them back in jars with broveda 62. Two has the grass smell still. One has it but not to bad the smell is coming back. My buds weren't big to begin with I think that's why two days they got the really dry almost crunchy feeling. Hubby tried some. Dark devil is a killer an Berry bomb couch locked his ass lmfao. Ha but the taste is grass lol. I know I got good cannabis because hubby is a chronic smoker and he was stoned so job well done there. I'm hoping after curing for min 2 weeks the taste is better. Only one way to find out right lol

It will age well. Great job!

Next harvest try the paper bag method it won't fail you, it's fool proof honestly. Yes in the jars with boveda 62 for week-2 burp daily.

Yes, now that I know how to do it correctly I think it will be great. They are loosing the grass smell slowly. So far all three are killer bud. If I yielded nicely it would have been sweet. Thinking of getting a trim bin so all the resin that falls off hubby can use it to sprinkle on top when he rolls hahahah. I'm becoming an expert an I don't smoke. Weird. I got some root organic soil on the way should be here tomorrow. Just not sure if I should start another round .. we decided to wait on the move. Idk maybe I'll start another round. Comletel different set up this time. I finally got the Mars 300 I used them in the end of this grow an they started stretching in the end of flowering.
