New Grower Honey's Journey

Hi Honey! It is very nice to have you here. You remind me of myself, as I am a total noob. Actually I think I may be more clueless! You are already on the right track by starting this journal. You will find plenty of helpful folks here who are willing to hold your hand ( warning! some of them have hairy palms ) or carry you on their backs if needed!
Check out my grow journal https://www.autoflower.org/threads/its-my-first-time-be-gentle.50654/ You may find some answers to questions you don't have yet.

Happy growing!!:greenthumb:
Thanks Autoimmune that means alot. This is going to be an awesome journey and Iam happy to take you and everyone else on AFN for the ride.

Now that I' am looking everything set up, i got the biggest brain fart..... everything is set up correctly however I' am taking a good look at my carbon set up. I have the filter upper top left side of my tent an the inline fan on the upper top right side with the duct vent out the upper top right side of the tent. Where the hell is fresh air going to come from. I think I need to use a duct vent on the lower left bottom of the tent so fresh air can come in an the filter can suck up an deodorizer and push out. I so just lost myself. was feeling accomplished when the set up was done and now I'am questioning it.

I have the Gale Force 4" inline fan, 182 CFM and the Covert Carbon Filter 4" X 12" CFM. I also have to mini fans for inside the tent but after reading about wind burn iam not so sure ill need them.

Hook carbon filet before the exhaust fan so your sucking through the carbon filter then through the exhaust fan and out will come clean smell air. Dont use intake fans just try this will give negative pressure and pull in tent walls slightly.

All you need to do from your description is open the vent at the bottom of your tent. You don't need a big opening to get major air circulation. I had a problem figuring out the logic of how the system works. I had to have it explained to me and when I got it set up I was amazed at well it works!! See the hole at the bottom, that is all I have open and it works like a dream:grin:

so no ducting coming out from the hole on the outside of the tent you just left it freely open? My tent is a little different. I got some good suction in there. my tent walls suck in a little when close my tent up. I believe this is what I want

I don't think you need any ducting unless you want to run cooler air in from somewhere else. Otherwise, if you have suction, and the tent walls are sucking in, you are good to go :greenthumb:
