Haha fair assessment. I have restocked, but it gets harder and harder to spend money on it when i know I've got a bunch ripening in the tent, lol. I do have to keep reminding myself that at the beginning I said ,"Whenever you think its ready, give it another 10-14 days

If you find yourself REEEAAAALLLLY wanting to harvest early, pick enough for a few days and leave the rest. If it's disappointing you can wait on the rest but you still have smoke in the meantime.

@PeaceLove&Buds. You used paper bags to dry right? Did it work well for you?

I was planning to but after the bud wash my wife surprised me with an out of town trip so I ended up just leaving the long branches to hang and dry for about 7 days. Smaller buds dried a little earlier but I just smoked em. All in all it went very well.

Cool, thanks! Trying to decide how to handle my harvest. The first two plants have very different types of buds so i feel like 2 day hanging then into paper bags might be a good idea.

I was going to follow @Dankerson plan and hang the whole plant for 4-5 days then cut 12” pieces and stand em up in paper bags. Hang them or set them on a grate or something to get air to bottom of the bag and rotate bags daily. But this dumbass didn’t know his fans were unplugged for 3 days and got some powdered mildew. I liked the bag idea because all buds big and small will dry the same apparently. I will be trying the bags next time so I’m looking forward to hear how it goes for you.

Sorry to hear man. Ya, brown bags have never done me wrong. Even in some tough wet drying conditions.

Yeah that’s no fun. Although the experience of getting through a shitty situation is always helpful in the future. Bright side is the plants aren’t hanging to dry I suppose. And they look freakin great man!
