New Grower Hog's First Grow

Day 54/51: Back On Track
The Muchachas seem to have turned the corner! They're at least drinking again, throwing out pistils, and starting to form buds.

Better picture of SNxPP, if i hadn't fried the leaves it would be a really beautiful plant.

Hey yall, Hog here in great green Illinois. Im new to the community and to mostly new to growing. I recently moved back home from Colorado to recover from some serious medical issues and be closer to family. Im a longtime recreational user, but given my condition, it is now very literally a medicine for me. The insane prices and corporate nature of weed industry here, along with a genuine fascination with how this plant works have made me decide to grow my own.

I've got a 4x4 Mars Hydro Tent with an FCe4800 on the way. Decided on an organic grow in a living soil using FFOF and Natures Living Soil. Planning on running 4 or 5 plants (5 Plants is the state limit) in 5 or 7 gallon pots. As far as genetics, I haven't orderd my seeds yet, so I'm open to suggestions. I'd like 2 or 3 indica,1 solid hybrid, and 1 solid sativa. My plan at the moment would be to get CDLC, Samsquanch OG, and either double grape or forum stomper from Meph, Star Spangled Banner and Galaxy Brain from Night Owl.

I'll be posting updates and I'm sure asking a bunch of questions. Super excited to get started on this and be a part of this badass Cannabis subculture. Happy growing folks!
You might look at 50 Shades of Grape if you like terps. The first time I grew one the smell completely blew me away. Exceedingly loud grape and fruit bubble gum. I've always wanted to grow Samsquanch - it sounds like an amazing strain.

That strain looks great! I ended up getting Samsquanch, Forum Stomper, CDLC, Fugue state, and Strawberry nuggets x Pink Panama along with Twenty20's Muchacha. Running the Muchacha, FS and SNxPP this time. Gonna do Samsquanch next run for sure.

My experience with really late flowering autos is they're gonna be like 140 days and be massive plants with just loose buds, ok for personal and rolling joints or hash since they do get frosty  I've had it happen a few times and had a double grape and a Fugue State do it just in the past year or so.

Well, its all personal at this point anyway.. The ones I have that just really started flowering were mostly delayed by cascading ph and lockout issues. Not expecting the best stuff from them, but they are a good exercise in nursing sick plants back to health.

Forum Stomper is another strain that I've heard is awesome. I think you're going to have superior medicine soon.

I've seen Double Grape take two months and even go almost three. I haven't yet harvested larfy buds from them but have harvested them from other autos.

Day 55/52
Headed out of town and leaving the girls for about 36hrs. They got a good watering last night and again this morning with Recharge and Yucca extract. Should be fine until I get home. It will be nice to see how much they grow. I poke my head in and look at then so often its hard to tell from day to day how much they're changing.

You can go 36 hours without water  :yoinks: mine that size would go limp after 24 hours

Edit: when i see plants at that 40 inch line of the tent poles i know they are big and drink a lot, you might be fine but i'm a worry wart
