Indoor HM's Buddah Purple Kush Journal

[Heavily Medicated]

My new grow is a Buddah Seeds Purple Kush Auto. I will be using my normal AN Nutes in Promix medium, 3 gallon pots, forced air injection, and MarsHydro 300 old style LED. The girl showed her head above ground on Aug 18, so that is Day 1.
Just have her a small "dribble" of 1/8X base nutes plus 2 ml/liter of VooDoo and B52, and 1 ml/liter of CalMagic for the first week, then gave a larger feeding all the way out to the rim of the pot. On Day 10 I upped the base nutes to 1/4X with the same rates of VooDoo, B52, and CalMagic and fed to runoff. Here are pics.

Day 14

Upped my base nutes to 3/8X plus 2 ml/l VooDoo and B52, and 1 ml/l CalMagic, pH adjusted to 6.3. Fed 2 quarts and just started to get a little runoff.

Gave my girl her hairdo and pony tailed her up like @atrain and @Chester have been doing to stimulate early growth in the low branchs. Seems to have worked really good on Doc's Ultimate Auto he is currently journaling. Props to both of these great growers for sharing a new technique. I'm going to leave the band on for about a half a day each day for like 3 or 4 days in a row depending on the response. @atrain or @Chester does this sound like the procedure you have been using? Looks good, I usually go 4 to 6 hrs and every other day just to give a small break and you can use as many times as ypu need to get desired results

Looks good to me too ... I like daily if you have the chance but my last few grows I only get to lift them for six hrs every three to four days and it's worked ...

Hi Doc, been gone for the long weekend, will be posting photos in the next couple days. Started LST before I left last Friday by bending the apex over to nearly horizontal, lots of new lower branch growth when I checked in when I got back. Going to up her base nutes to 1/2X or 2ml/liter.

9/9 Day 22

pH via A8 = 6.5

I think I am seeing some early stages of magnesium deficiency, so I am upping my CalMagic to 2 ml/L. This is my normal schedule to up my base nutes to 1/2X, and supplemented with 2 ml/L CalMagic anbd 2 ml/L B52. Adjusted pH to 6.3. Had a mix of 1132 ppm, started with 153 ppm water, so nute concentration of 979 ppm.

Fed 8 pints, collected 3 1/2 pints of runoff. Runoff pH=6.0, ppm=1200.

She is really starting to spread her wings, here are pics.
