Lighting HLG UK Europe FLASH SALE Exp. 28 Feb 2019

Ok sorry, was only trying to help others .
What would be acceptable?
Can I tell people to PM me for the link?
:smokeout: cheers bud, that's quite alright, and thanks for the heads-up on this deal! I'm not sure where things are at currently, but Admin has been in contact with HLG.... Q-boards seem to be making a nice splash these days, and I sure do like some of the advantages they offer, particularly the more even coverage (less shadow casting) and the fuller color spectrum offered,... Sure, PAR is critical, but other wavelengths not necessarily optimal for that specifically still do play other important roles-... I'm still annoyed at how $$ they are though,.. pretty sure the DIY folks are putting together some phat rigs for dimes on the dollar....:woohoo1:

Hi @TheMongol and @Mossy

I’ve been guilty of posting links to Amazon products more than once. Is that prohibited too? I’ll apologize upfront as I was unaware despite having received links to site rules.
*gaaaasp* :yoinks: :naughtystep: say it ain't so!.... That's fine DG, I do as well, usually just to show a specific product and/or pricing,.. all part of the "good tips/word of mouth" thing!

More more! :headbang:

It would be nice if they ran the same sale on this side of the pond.

Don't you guys get the 420 sales? I know it's still a ways off but you never know... especially if admin have been in discussions with head office?

What are Q boards, dear @Waira? Do you mean the Q series strips from Samsung?

As long as we do not need to paste each individual diode onto the boards, I really don't call it DIY. Way less work compared to assembling a color coded/ assembly friendly PC. You can usually get them cheapest on Alibaba. Prices are usually half of what HLG charges. So the 90 off isn't really appealing imo.

Many growers are scared by the term DIY but in this case, its really just connecting a few wires. All parts plus diagram is given. You won't need any tools even. Just your hands and 10 mins.

DIY is the way to go. You can pretty much do whatever you want.
I have 20x Q's in my 120x120cm tent and it fits perfectly. I added some 660nm diodes and 730nm triggers too. As cheap as you can make, great 2.7 umol/s light.

Hey guys, dunno what you're running with but noticed you may be from over this side of the pond and thought you may be interested... hope you don't mind the tag?
Appreciate the tag. Got hooked up with a 250w board from invisiblesunled last year. My result... chopped down last week. Get some taking used to after using hps!
