Lighting Hlg elite 360

Four QB 304, one QB 324, 3 QB 288 and 2 QB 96(?) strips that replaced the bulb in my T5 light! I also have a 4 COB light from HLG's previous company, Northern Lighting Group. All QBs are the real thing from HLG, not those chinese ripoffs!

Ohh almost forgot, 2 auto cobs!

What's up guys just pulled the trigger on the Hlg 360 elite diy kit! Super stoked for this bad boy to show up on the my doorstep just in time for the Dinafem grow battle! @Gladiators what kind of lights y'all running?

8 x RapidLED ChilLED Logic Growmau5 v2 pucs on 2 x HLG-320H-C1400B.
Thanks to SSSC I'll be attaching 2 x California Lightworks UVB lights to the frame for my battles too.
Nice I almost went with the 3 puck rail with chilled logic pucks! How do you like your set up?

It's everything I wished for really. Great coverage and penetration with the extra reds. Two things confuse me about it but I'm not too bothered.
First is the substrate. It fills the whole tent so the frame sticks out 6" either side of the 2 light rails. I'll cut it down at some point.
Secondly is the draw on the drivers. I have them both turned up 100% but my smart plug says both drivers are only drawing 180W full tilt (combined). Feel like these pucs can do a lot more.

What driver is running them? If I remember correctly I think they there website said they could push up to 150 watts per puck? Don't quote me on that though!! It's probably because they have it set up for efficiency and longevity, I know the cooler they run the longer they last!

Damn I love this light fixture, it arrived today and here is how the build turned out!

They sent 2 x HLG-320H-C1750B drivers. They say nominal is 48v. 48v multiplied by 1.75a is 84W each (336W x 2 drivers = 672W).
I'm taking 180W total so something's amis.

Reversing the calcs:
180W/8pucs = 22.5W each. 22.5W/1.75a = 12.86v each.
So they're only using 30% nominal efficiency?
How do I ramp that up to the full 84W recommended?
Can I remove the potentiometers and go full tilt?

Thanks for your time Hazyrook.

Well im not sure that removing the pots would give you any more power at all, the pot turned all the way up should give you full power from the driver, unless they have another pot hidden that limits the total power of the driver, I will look into right now and see what I can come up with!

Yeah dude that's super weird, there saying those drivers should be pulling a little over 630 watts total and you pulling 180 total from each driver or from both drivers together? Either way it's way low!! Have you asked chilled tech yet if they know what's going on?

180W total. Actually it's 180W for the 2 drivers an IP camera and a fan. I thought it might be the smart plug so I plugged in my old Viparspectra and it read 257W for 1 (which is about right for the V600).
Thanks for confirming with me.

I've just finished a run and have some spare time so I'll have a play around and I'll contact RapidLED and see what they say.
