HLG 100 Rspec Test

What do you consider the right time to supercrop? I have some plants that did not get fimmed or topped this run.
Once the bud sites start to look like cotton balls forming its last call for alcohol lol. Then once they look like buds growing I don't want to do anything high stress. I dont like to put #of days because every strains is different. Like my Zamaldelica is a week or 2 behind the blueberry. She may hit the afterburners and catch up, but as of now she is behind. All depends on the plants mostly. Shit happens sometimes and things need to be done or even happen on accident. So never say never, but that's the baseline I like to follow. That being said I'm usually very rough with them prior to that point lol.

I have done plenty of it. thought I was missing something. I agree with your visual timeline. I understand how meaningless days can be as a measure. It is weird how much difference there can be in growth. If I had a height problem that might be one thing, but to level the canopy later on, not worth it. I think I saw Kushman supercrop every branch on the plant in a video. Of course, it was a photoperiod.

I have seen that video lol. He has a strange chiropractic technique that is kinda gross, well the sound I mean lol. I go his route, but not every branch. If it hasn't been cropped I'll do it if it's not in flower. Some have said they supercrop well into flower with no issues, but I'm skeptical on that.

My girls are about 5 weeks old now and they are just right to do it now but you will know if it's to late to do them as they will not bend so easy and if she doesn't feel bendable I feel she's passed its time as sometimes I will do it a couple of times to keep my canopy level

Is that when you normally like to supercrop? I'm kinda aggressive, I start once they are bigger. It's kinda to explain lol, when they look big enough to handle it. Like thick enough that it will stay standing afterwards. I dont bend them unless I'm trying to direct them, or cut down on height. Although that never works they always grow up anyways. I think supercropping is one of if not the most beneficial techniques you can preform.

When they are thicker they are more fibrous so they don't usually snap if you give them some mushes with your fingers. I look at it that if you do a lot of training you are gonna F up some time but the more you do it the fewer problems you have.

Oh... I break me some branches bud lol. Cost of doing business sometimes. That's what electrical tape is for hahaha. Sometimes I dont know when to quit, and I push to far. I can be streaky when it rains it pours been good lately, but the more I dont break them the more I think I can do. You get good if you do enough that's for sure. I give them a squeeze, and I can tell if I can or not. I will be doing a Grow & Show for Twenty20 Mendocino when this grow is done. Actually doing 2 stains over 2 grows so really 2 lol. Ill be doing their auto version of Trainwreck in a scrog. It takes longer up to 95 days so doing it by itself. I know days are just a number, but will be longer than normal so I can treat her more like a photo. I will be doing a lot of supercropping on her if you want to follow along.

Back again with an updated thanks for tagging along. Before we get into it you know what time it is... time to get lifted! If you're not lifted yet join me in a little sesh.
:smoking:

As they say a dab will do ya! Getting close to the end of the grow, although she still has some to go. Today is day 63 so 2-3 weeks, and she should be done... maybe. I'm still not good enough to look a plant, and say for sure how long she has. Here are some pics from yesterday, I planned on doing this yesterday but here we are lol.

I'm afraid I may have to harvest the blueberry 1st, she is like a week or 2 ahead. If that's the case she will need to go in a box inside the tent. Not a route I want to take, but I have done it before so gotta do what ya gotta do.

My Zamaldelica has stretched above both lights, anyone have ideas what if anything I can do?
