HLG 100 Rspec Test

They are not as far along as it appeared. I may have had an orange pistol tainting the view. We use to call them "hairs" back in the day. That's how people would tell if it was good stuff lol. I only looked at them once so my bad. The 3rd period was about to start so didnt look super close just a bud on each. There are some amber, and a lot cloudy so wont be to much longer. Going over them more still look ok, leaves aren't falling off only lost a few from earlier. They have been given a stay of execution... for now. I only had 1 auto that took longer than 80 days, so this is a little new to me. I was worried I would need to take the Blueberry before the Zamaldelica. This way she has more time to finish.

Based on all the new white hairs it seems like she's got quite a more bud building and swelling to go, which depending on how much she puts out may end up being more than what's already showing trichs. From what I can tell it doesn't look like there's much at all by way of swollen calyxes yet on there to even be able to get much of a look. I could be totally off base though, and obviously you can see them better than I can lol. I just know I've never had a plant be ready with that much new growth going on. If timing is a concern you could always get the new beans started now and that way they're ready to go once those are done? Idk just spitballing

You said she's a sativa? They tend to run longer from my understanding. Have you looked at grow journals for her here or otherwise? Imo they can give a much better idea of how long a plant will go than breeder estimates.

The Zamaldelica is, both look picture perfect as far as indica and sativa. Yes, they can run longer, but when they do its usually noted. Ace gives a standard time around 75 days'ish cant remember exactly. She seems to be ok, my concern is the blueberry. Fast Buds are quality and fairly consistent. Most are very frosty, so this is odd. I did see the blueberry on other sites that did go long, but were frosty. I will let them go until ready or plant starts to die. Here buds are nice looks fine just very little trichs. We will see soon I cant imagine they go more than 1-3 weeks.

Sorry the only thing that I can surmise is maybe check trichomes under different light sources in case the same illusion hit your eye.

I think the light from my scope was shining on a pistol. Like if you bounce light off a blue wall the light will look blue. Not sure wasnt a thorough look lol.

I find when I take a photo with my phone they all look clear. If I use that phone as a light source for my microscope I can see them as amber cloudy and clear. WTF?

Yeah, measure twice cut once as they say lol. I have glasses so it kinda a pain to use my scope. I'm looking for 1 like the signature guy on Pawn Stars uses. I could just look at my tablet instead of eye piece. Haven't found it yet tho...

Welcome back everyone! Grow still chugging along at day 86. Not a lot of progress, but some. Before all that it's that time again... time to get lifted!!! I'm sick so today I ate some Blue Dream gummies, and they're starting to kick in.

Not a lot going on starting to purple on the leaves near buds. This plant is odd tho, buds are looking more frosty but only the buds. There are no trichs on the leaves just on buds. I mean like none! Have you ever seen that? I know some dont have a lot, but I can see 1 rich on any leaves that arent growing from a bud. Guess I wont have any trim to save from her. Now the Zamaldelica does, she looks like she has drops of water that glisten in the light. Blueberry buds look better, but leaves have NOTHING lol. Her buds are looking much more colorful with purple and, orange hues. Looks tasty starting to look like fruity pebbles a little. And then there is a purple blotch, just 1 as far as I can see.

Only fan leaf with purple. I've seen a few of these ladies with purple leaves this shade. I didnt spin her around, but only spot I can see. Maybe she is just starting to turn, I hope they looked beautiful like that. Here are just a few pics from today.

I think in a few days I will give her a test. Best way to find out is to sample her, also the most fun way too lol. Once I get some buds to sample I'll press some rosin and report back. Till then stay lifted.

Day 96

And that's a wrap!!! Thanks for sticking this 1 out with me didnt think it would take this long lol. Before I get into everything it's that time again... it's time to get lifted. Today is a lung day so had me some Blue Dream gummies. After not smoking last week mornings were a lot less dreadful. Throat was feeling better so plan to start taking lung days more often.

I had planned to start harvest a few days ago on Monday, but life had other plans. Son had to go to the hospital Sunday night out of nowhere. Hes fine, but were found out he has asthma now. He just got back to school today so had to wait till today to start. I took some samples of both, and they were good to go. Most likely have been done, but is what it is as they say. I had a branch give out on the Zamaldelica bent not broken so tied it up till I could harvest. Both were solid and heavy so they filled out nicely. I must say this was my best experience at a harvest. I finally got to break in my leaf bowl trimmer. If any of you were in the fence about getting one... GET ONE NOW!!! I got the Blueberry finished in about 1hr 15mins. It would have easily took me 3hrs or so to trim by hand. I have about 80% of the Zamaldelica finished too, and should finish tonight. I think the fastest I've finished before was like 3 days, or about 8-10 hrs trim time. Here are some pics from this morning.

Most of the fan leaves started to go purple, but couldnt wait till they finished.

I hate trimming so this was monumental for me! I could have finished this afternoon, but I was hungry and knew I could finish later. I trimmed more than I would normally because leaves have no trichs just buds. I didnt want all that empty leaf in bowl. I actually got some ok trim I'm glad I cut off empty leaves. When I did the Zamaldelica it was much more sticky on the grill. Cleaning will be fun, or do I leave it? After a while you could scrape it off I guess. What do you think? It smelled awesome when I was spinning the trimmer lol. Well all for now gotta finish tonight get them drying asap. I will be starting my G&S for twenty20 Mendocino asap. Till then stay lifted.
