HLG 100 Rspec Test

Welcome and thanks for stopping bye. I would like to thank @Les @HLG for giving me this opportunity to test out the HLG 100 Rspec! This is the 1st light from HLG I have used, but have heard good things so I'm excited to give it a go. Before we get start there's is something I need to do 1st. If you've followed any of my other journals you know what time it is... it's time to get lifted! Join me in a quick sesh to get in the right frame of mind.



There we go, now I feel right I can continue on lol. I dont have an unboxing because the recycling truck was coming and I rushed to get my box out to him lol. It was packed very well, and had zero info on what was inside. That is alway a big plus for me! I will try to keep the test simple & easy to follow. Here is my equipment list.

4'x2' tent
Phresh filter carbon filter
3gal Rain Science grow bag
Pro mix
Ace seeds Zamaldelica auto
Advanced Nutrients lineup
R/O water
Earth Juice Microblast

I think that's it, but as with life its subject to change. I will be running another girl alongside. A Fast Buds Blueberry under an autocob may be seen in some shots. She will receive some overflow from the Rspec which I dont mind.



Yesterday was day 1, and the Zamaldelica seems to like the light. She didnt take long to poke her head up.

@Les @HLG can you give me a recommendation for distance for seedlings. I only saw veg/flower distances in the manual. @Mañ'O'Green how soon can I give her some Earth Juice? That all I got for now, but more fun to come. Stay lifted.

I wish I had 2 of them so I could be showing off both of my ladies lol. I thought about doing a comparison with the autocob, but the Rspec is a bigger light so wouldn't be much of a contest. Plus they're different strains so cant really compare them either. How far are you into your grow? I see you got a journal going I'll pop over shortly.

Day 70 today I think. Guy who traded me the beans ran a few cycles of it and preferred it at 11 to 11.5 weeks. Started flushing last night.

Day 11

Welcome back hope your day is going well! Got an update for you all, but 1st things 1st. It's that time again... it's time to get lifted. So if you can dab along, or pack a bowl twist a joint whatever your method there's no wrong way.



Ok, now I'm lifted nicely on to the update lol. Normally this is where I say things are going good, but not so fast. For day 11 she is not doing much. I did things a little different this time. I usually start to feed them day 1. This time I gave just water for about the 1st week. She is really small doesn't look like she is growing much, but standing straight so I think she is still going. I have shown patience in the past, and it has paid off so I will continue on that path. I dont really have a choice with 1 tent. I need the both to finish at the same time because I use my tent for drying. I am a little worried tho because her roommate is 3x the size of her. The Zamaldelica was much larger during germination, and came up almost a day faster. Both have been given the same feed so that isnt the issue. Here is the Zamaldelica

They both are a little light in color so I know they are hungry. Cant give a lot yet still to small I dont want to over water them. Here they both are, you can see how small she is next to the blueberry.

It's still early'ish so not panicked yet, but I'm ready to hit that button. I was hoping to top both of them, but at this rate that not gonna happen. I made up some co2 to help them as much as I can. Temperature is good RH is as well. Maybe I got 1 of those miniature plants I see some post lol. Hope not, but will play the hand I'm dealt. I'll will update in a few days hopefully with some good news. Until then stay lifted.

It is too early to stress, just let them girls grow. CO² is a waste at this stage.
