Thought i would drop by and intro myself, have been a full on toker for more years than I care to remember (or maybe just cant remember) started way back in the 70's but have only been growing for meds one crop (so a newbie) 1st grow was regular dwc that ended up with root rot but still managed to get about 4 ounces. So this time switched over to bucket grows so hopefully have more control and less chance of the dreaded root rot. And am also using AF for the first time, Critical from feminised seeds. In rockwool blocks with clay pebbles and bubblers got 5 going in a tent at different stages due to a couple of mishaps. Had a 100% pop rate. Popped them under a 250w cfl blue 6400 K then switched when a couple of inches to 600w MH and have just switched to 600w HPS for flowering yesterday and also have the 250w CFL going as well so the ones that are lagging behind get the full spectrum needed for veg. Can't use the Mh and HPS as only have one ballast plus its in a tent so would run too hot, I figure it cant do the ones that are flowering any harm, but we will see. Now I am getting a little experience with these AF's will see how this go and maybe I will do a grow diary in the future. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear it as I need to harvest as much as possible as have an 86 yr old father with cancer who I need to get started on the oil asap. Peace out
