Hello everyone .
Another Newbie here,hope you can stand another in the mix .
Hope ya'll dont mind me getting right to the point ?

?1) Do Autos lend themselves to the DWC type of grow ?
?2) With autos is it possible to do more than one harvest
frome the same plant in a season ?
?3) What would be a good strain for a newbie to start with ?

Will have more ?s I'm sure but will start with these.

Hey Man,

Good to have you. You went over my head with the deep water culture grow so I will default to someone with more knowledge. As far as multiple harvest, I haven't seen it done.

And I know I rarely pay much attention to new "Introductions" other than to note another member has joined, Not sure I am typical in that regard.

Short Answers are

1 Yes, - There are numerous threads on this site with DWC grows- check them out.
2 No , not really. Autos have a pretty short life cycle. In theory you might be able to get a clone off of one (There have been a few reported here) but it was really more of a salvaging a broken stem by planting it, rather than a true cloning.
3. There will be all sorts of opinions on this. But I would say it would be easier to find which ones you should avoid. There are a ton of factors to figure into your question. Indoor, outdoor, if outdoor what is your Latitude?. How big are comfortable with or have space for? How stinky can you tolerate? Do want a single cola, or a bush? Do you like an Indica effect or a Sativa effect? Is this for recreation or for medical use or a combination. If for Medical use, what is your ailment/s? LOTS of questions to answer this one.

Since I posted I.ve bee lead to several good threads on the DWC and I always thought it would but wanted to ask to see if others had done it and pick up some time saving advice.
As for the second question I was more interested in Regenaration of the plant rather than cloning. And I've been lead to a few utube videos that have that covered
Just was checking because I know it can be done on photoperiod plants outdoor (I've seen that personnaly.
And question #3 about strain is Smell i don't really want anything thats going to draw anyone to it ya know. As far as Indica or Sativa and recreational or medical
that does'nt matter seeing that I don't smoke it or use it ,Know the cola or bushy part either are fine.
What this really is allabout is a growing experiment that I've always wanted to try.Since I am retired now I thoughtit would be a fun thing to take up some of my time. A hobby so to speak not unlike Bonsia .
