Greetings,

I have been interested in autos for a long while to use in outdoor areas that have light pollution but at my home forum (MNS) there aren't many folks with solid auto experience. I look forward to lurking here and getting an education on autos. At most forums there is a line that all rave about, for example MNS has Mango Haze. Is there an auto that is considered head and hands above the rest?

Thanks, P77

Hello Professor, let me be the first to say welcome to the AFN family. Glad you found us and you should find every answer you need for autos here.

There are too many strains to list. I don't think there is any one strain that is hailed as the chieftain just yet but I know a few people that are working diligently to change that. So, my suggestion would be to have a look through the grow journals and see who is growing what and what you like. When you find something that piques your interest ask a few questions. Everyone here will always be happy to engage in some banter about the strains they are growing. Best of luck!

Hey Professor(I like that because it reminds me of Gilligan's Island),
Short Stuff and Flash are Stitch's gear. I haven't run either of those but can say he has awesome genetics. If you are from MNS I am sure you have heard of Stitch. There is another member on here running Spyder right now. I just looked at it earlier. Just looked up the link but no pictures yet, https://www.autoflower.org/f2/spyder-23937.html He stops in from time to time and checks up on people but I think he has some family issues at the moment and is tending to that. So, it may be a while before he answers but you can probably drop in to his section and post some questions if you have anything specific.

I will leave the reviews to someone else as I tend to only look for quick autos to run in between photos. Those are going to be some long grows there though. Much longer than several of my photos actually.

I will be looking for your journals though!

hello p77 , we have conversed in threads at mns , although ive been banned there under numerous ids lol , some for debates regarding autos

never heard mention of stitch over at mns , but you will here

im aware of your likes when it comes to strains and your looking in the right direction here , remember "super auto" when searching

peace

Welcome

Welcome professor ^_^

Nice strain choices - don't forget that super autos can grow really big and take a bit longer than regular autos. If you'd like some other suggestions, people love "Dragons" here and Dutch Passion are a very popular choice for first auto grows.

We've got some breeders here at AFN with their own forum section, it's definitely worth checking out the grows in there as we have some awesome growers on boards too.

Also for inspiration check out the BOM competition thread - there's some great pictures of well grown plants in there too! ^_^

Hope this helps a little
All the best
