what up meng, new to afn and looking to learn as much as possible before first attempt at this...any suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated.

welcome to AFN justice, if you're looking to learn then you just hit the jackpot:booya:lot of knowledgeable growers here willing to help. what do you plan on growing? what kind of set up?

Welcome aboard mate.

If your looking to learn your at the right place - lotsa info and lotsa great people willing to share the info.

First suggestion would be to read, read, read through the many posts here - so many gems of info. Can be confusing at times as everyone does things a little different but is a good way to see what other people do and what might work for you.

Im fairly new to growing myself and still finding my feet but Im sure if you put up here an idea of how your planning on growing - indoor or outdoor, how much space you have, what lights etc you have (if inside and if already have em) or what you are looking at getting - people will be more than happy to help.

Hey Justice. Welcome to AFN! Tell us a little about how many plant you want to grow, the size of your area etc.

hey guys thanx for the welcome, I'm planning a small grow to get my feet wet and see how it goes...as for reading some of the info on here, that is all i have been doing and the info is great so far...

as far as equipment

3x3x6 SJ DR90 pro2 (1)

Blackstar 240w 3w (1)

DIY DWC bubbleponics(4 individual)

no nutes, meters, etc...oh yeah 5 pack barneys PE autofem, still waiting on them. So lets hear it lol how am i looking so far?

Hello Justice. Welcome to the site.
Although you may be able to slide without a without a ph meter with soil (not recommend but soil is a lot more forgiving than hydro) . You WILL NEED a pH meter for your hydro setup.
Also your dwc buckets must be at a certain temperature to prevent root rot/slimy roots
Is this your first grow?
If so a lot of members recommend to start off with soil then move on to hydro.

yeah i will definitely be investing in a ph meter and all other essential equipment just buying them as cash is availible...but ph is at the top of my list, have to get that water right...not my first GO just the first on my own...little nervous and excited want to treat these baby's nice and give them everything they need...

thanx buddha just the type of advice i need...did have a question, I have been hearing alot about how sensitive autofem's fro m seed so now I'm worried, my 5 autofem PE my plan was to drop these 5 in water til they dropped then place these in accel-a-root Seed and Clone Starter Kit(from growace.com) wait for these to have a few nice roots and leafs than place in bubbleponic 5 gl net pots in hydroton. would this be to much stress? Also planned to provide light from a 2" T5 while on seed tray.

sorry about the spelling on that last post, and i do plan to start a grow journal once im up and running.
