Is a 6 inch inline fan and carbon filter to big for a 4x4 tent? Overkill?

Nope. Just get a fan speed controller also so you can turn the fan up or down.

Yes 6 inch should be fine. I run an 8" in a 4x6x8. Buy a fan designed with the controller. sometimes adding one later can cause heat problems in the motor.

Sweet the one I picked out includes temperature and humidity controller. My shopping list is now complete. Hope my financial advisor(Aka the wife) wont be to upset, I might of went a tab bit over on what I told her I was originally going to spend on this adventure. 
Things sure did add up quickly.

I created a new thread for my first grow. Super excited and looking forward to this adventure. I'll post a link below incase anyone wants to keep an eye on me. So I don't completely phuck up my first grow. Few weeks away from germination. For now I'm just setting up everything and making sure I have everything done correctly. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
