I started this little lady on December 23, 2014. I was certain she was almost finished but it seems like there's new growth on the buds. I've never seen this before. Any advice is much appreciated! 20150325_124038.jpg20150325_124020.jpg

A little info like what strain etc would be very helpful, enviroment, lights, etc...
have you done anything to the buds? I have a plant (actually a project I'm working on) and on the advice of some one I snipped the tops of the buds being told it would help "fatten" them up, lol they grew crazy, almost looked like a Hermie plant, all swollen calyx's and I decided I would start flushing her... Well low and behold my plant is doing the SAME exact thing... I also never seen anything like this but am also in the same boat....will try to up some pics so you can see what I mean.... :karma Cloud: I've seen fox tailing before but your plant and mine don't seem like they are foxtailing but getting a last minute go....

Thanks for the response Yoda and I'm sorry about the sideways pics I don't know what's up with that lol. OK the strain is Magnum from Buddha Seeds. I'm growing her under a 600w HPS using the 5 gallon bucket DWC system and SCROG. I actually started flushing and noticed this regen a few days later. I'm lost lol.

LOL GangGReen, welcome to AFN! Head on over to the intro section and say Hello :) A lot of expert growers (and me not being one of them, am knowledgeable but by no means an expert) hopefully someone will pop by and give us some insight to what is going on... Were your buds before flushing looking like a bunch of swollen calyx's and not "bud"? Airy and fluffly? here is the plant Im talking about (its a russian dragon x super skunk)

That was taken on the 20th, and is one of the buds I messed with, and now here she is only 5 days later

She's swelling up... and here is a shot of a bud that I DIDNT mess with

Obviously it seems like some kind of stress response, I didnt see any sacs on my lady, I saw what could be mistaken for sacs but each one had pistils coming out of it and I havent noticed it droppping any pollen... (lol will see shortly once she gets the chop...) Mine is on about day 80...
Hopefully someone will chime in :)

I actually have another account but lost my login info and the login info to the email address.....go figure lol. Before I started flush there were no signs of what is happening now. I started flush and in the second week of flush I went to put her in darkness.....the second day of dark I noticed the regen.

Ahh there you go, maybe she's just very senstive and as a last ditch effort started to regen... I betcha its foxtailin, (your plant) mine I think is some genetic/stress related response... I would continue flushing as normal and give her the chop, did you check the trichs out under a scope yet to see where they are at? If all cloudy or ambered up Id give her the chop regardless, as the regen growth wont amount to much more increase in yield and who knows she may end up throwing sacs... I would say check the trichs see how they are looking and proceed from there....

Pistils are about 50% amber and trichs are about 40%-50% cloudy. I'll continue flush and darkness until Friday and chop her. I was scared shed throw sacs so we'll get her done asap.
