hi guys i'm new to growing and AFN

my first seedling is fast and vast started right in soil, due to high humidity 80% i only watered once in 7th day now is the 8th day.
temp: 78" to 83"

as you can see in the photo two of the leaves are kinda twisted and deformed, what can cause this problem ?

I measured my ran off the only time i watered and it was 6.2
i use ph-ed water (6.8)
single 38 watt CFL until day 7 now she is under 300 watt LED

any advice ?
thanks

PS: light cycle is 24/0 and the soil mix is 50% perlite, 10% solid nitrogen fertilizer and the rest potting soil.

Welcome to AFN.They don't look that bad but it could be a little to much fertilizer causing a slight curling.I would back off the fert for awhile and use just plain water, and see if that helps.

A tad bit heat stressed, I don't think its any kind of nute burn because I cant see any yellowin on the edges but I could be wrong. I am going to say that 83 is a little too hot for your small little babies. If at all possible to bring the temps down I would do that

Thank you namvet25 and derek420colorado,

noted on fertilizer namvet ;)

@Derek I agree with you on heat stress but it's a lil bit difficult to lower temp while my house is at that same temp, although i wasn't really sure the curly twisted leaves were because of heat.

i'll post new pics after a few days
cheers

Just wanted to update the status of my plant.
I think it was heat. i managed to reduce temp to 78" and this is the current state (14 days old)
looks healthy :)

Don't worry I have had several plants do this. Its from high nutrients. Not all nutrients burn. High nitrogen for example will do this early on, turn the plant dark green and turn your leaf tips down, AKA the claw. The curling your seeing now the plant will usually grow out of in a few weeks just back off any feeding for a short time. One thing I would recommend is hitting your plant with more light early on. Although the plant is small a 38W light is pretty light duty unless you have it 6" away from the plant with a fan blowing on it.

yep the heat was def the issue, 78 is perfect, you see how they laid back down all normall like? That lets you know it was the heat, the stomata were doin overtime trying to keep the plant cool that is why the edges curl like that if it is in fact heat stress and not nute burn

The leafs were tipped up from the 38W CFL. The plant was reaching for the light. Low 80s will not do this. The leafs went back down because it now has enough light now. I have had several plants curl there leafs like this and quickly grow out of it. Both the plants in my pictures did this early on. It was from me adding a little too much steer manure to my mix. They both quickly grew out of it. Same light and temps the whole grow. Temps were in the low 70s and light was 24" away.

different symptoms, those pics are overferted hence the downward clawing, N tox will cause that and if it was just a slight thing then by watering it will dilute the N in the soil. His plants were heat stressed my dude, yours were not heat stressed but as you stated overfertlized

The whole leaf dose not turn up during heat stress. His plants were not heat stressed I have had the same symptoms in cool rooms.
