Help with slow seedlings

I have a similar problem as you as most of my grows so far had a slow start. I have a few at day 7 right now and my tent RH has been sticking around 30% due to the cold winter air and wood stove heating the house. Something to try out is to have them under humidity domes for the first little while. It will give them a higher humidity bio-dome to live in while they get their root systems going. You probably did overwater a bit too. The only water my girls have had on day 7 has been the initial pot soak. They are getting close to needing a drink soon though.

I have never had any look like @LittleMT 's picture at Day 9, but I'm working toward that. But don't worry too much as I've still had some nice grows off of slow starters.

Do yours lol like mine at day 7? You have any pics?

I have three more beans germinating so I will try leaving the my humidity domes on for a bit and see how they take to it. The next three I plan to be more patient with my watering. Never ran into this problem in my greenhouse. This indoor growing is a different ball game so far. Also I really think the humidity has something to do with it.

Also on another note, I think the coco coir pucks I put the ladies in arent helping matters either. When I pulled the bubba kush so I could see the roots I noticed that the tap root had gone horizontal and it looked like it was really struggling to get out of the white material holding in the coco coir. If you look at my pics you can see the material holding the coco. I will be putting the next three right into the soil and see if this helps.

I have a feeling I will pull the small cream manderine xl to make room for the others (germinating 2 more Cream Manderine and 1 Norther Lights) but I will let it grow for a bit just to see what happens.

They are fine and they are slow now and this is normal and they will start growing faster with each new set of leaves.I recommend only using one light at this point, 2 is overkill and to much light could damage them.

Sizewise I wouldn't worry too much, but, the rooting plugs with the fibrous wrap seem to cause issues for autos getting thru that barrier and then on.

Go straight to the medium. And as long as healthy, let them do their thing. Most action your not seeing in the first week or so because it's mostly happening in the medium.

I knocked it down to one light. I turned my patients dial to full also ;-)

Yeah, like i stated above, it will be straight into the soil with the next three! I have used the plugs before without a hiccup but I think with what I saw on the Bubba Kush seedling I am done with them.

Thanks for sharing some insight :-)

The CM is still such a runt!! The WW is starting to grow a bit now.

:toke: ProMix is devoid of nutes, wormcastings are super mild, so start dilute feeds right away,... lights should be about 2' away for seedlings, they want less intense light at this stage,...
