Hello all,

I have a Royal Dwarf with 60 days and last week a Nitrogen overfert built up. My media is 50%/50% peat moss/perlite and Biobizz ferts.

In a week I did 3 flushes with PH´d water. The first flush the runout was 1198 ppm. Two days later the second flush with runout at 600 ppm. And two days later the third flush had a 30 ppm runout.

Growth is almost stunted.

What else can I do? Just wait a few weeks to see how it goes?

Thanks,

...yup, nute build up shown in that high run-off ppms, including some minor N-toxicity... flushing was smart, 2nd one got you set OK, 3rd stripped away too much though...
There's no "correcting" the plant itself; many nutes are stored within the plant, N especially, and there's no removing any of them once inside, they must be used by the plant gradually.... stay on bloom and other supp's, just less/dilute; you're not too far from done, and they won't build much more this late in the game sad to say,...

Thanks, Waira. I did a heavy flush to have a clean media, hoping that the plant would consume the overferts. By now the soil is overwatered, heavy, and when is sunny, she goes there to dry the vase. It´s been a week without watering. When the soil gets dryer, perhaps another 2 weeks, I´ll add a light PK feed. Living is learning!

Ah, I can help with that too,... try getting a small stack of newspaper plus a paper towel on top, and rest the pot on top of them,.. make sure the paper towel is in good contact with the bottom/drainage holes and medium,.. what you're angling for here is some wicking action, drawing the moisture off into the stack,... it won't work if the soil is dry to a certain point, but when it's soggy, keeping on this will speed removal while that wicking action can be kept going!
