I am getting ready to start my first auto grow and will be looking for lots of help. I dropped 1 each of Northern Lights, Amnesia Haze, and Blueberry. The AH and the BB both sprouted. The NL hasn't shown so I am starting a new one today. I started the seeds in non-woven bags and will drop the whole bag into their forever 3 gal. fabric pots soon. The soil is FFOF with about 30% perlite. The reason I used the small bags is because I am terrible at starting seeds and the smaller bags make it easier for me to judge the amount of water to give them. Please take a look and let me know any suggestions Should I go ahead and put them in their home now or wait for more leaf sets? Thank you any and all.

It's not really transplanting. You just insert the whole starter bag into the forever bag. Same dirt, water, and environment. The bags are non-woven so the roots will go right through. I have tried starting seeds in peat pots, jiffy pots, and assorted other mediums and was not impressed. These little bags get good reviews. I know autos don't like transplanting because the shock slows the growth but there should be no shock with the bags.

I figure if they both pop I'll have 2! I have a friend who just built a grow space that's about 20 X 8 with 14 foot ceilings, AC with humidity control and he's never grown. I told him I would help with my limited knowledge. I can give him as many as I can sprout.

i never said i knew what i was talking about :nono: ahh yesits not transplanting,if it dosnt come out to go in....
i think a lot of folk with cubes etc, plant/pot when they first see a lil root poke out
20x8 :yoinks:and a lot of folk start off on the windowsill:watering: hmm its go hard or go home, something like that

I started my current run with two in Rhizo propagation bags similar to these, and two transplanted from normal small pots to final air pot.

The two I physically transplanted from normal pots have done much better than those I used propagation bags for. The propagation bag plants haven’t stretched as much as usual and I’m pretty sure will be lower yielders.

I get the need for getting water right the first few weeks, but personally I’d get them out of those bags and into final pots before they are totally rooted in them. Just my own experience.

Rhizo propagation bags
I took a look online and the Rhizo are much heavier material than the bags I'm using. They must be because they tout them as reusable. The ones I am using are non-woven and there is no way they can be reused. You can actually see through them. I have used jiffy pots, never again, and peat pots, never again. I will post my findings once I have popped them in their forever pots. I will be doing a control sprout also.
