HELP W/organic nuts

Why oh why didn't I come to u. I knew you had rain water to. Just what I needed

Since your ph is stable at 6.2 6.5, do you ever need to adj your ph a tad or you leave it alone?

Lol no worries mate just glad that i caught the thread

I never usually adjust that if it is in that range. I have added Slag to my grow and it really seems to have helped balance out the soil.
it has lime and a bunch of other minerals in it to not only keep the soil in check but add to the micro herd.
Previous to the lime i would only adjust if it got to like 6.0 and then little bits at a time. I had to find that happy medium on the 5 gal bucket.

Thanks again FD. This makes so much sense. It's no wonder my ph meter would always fluctuated a bit with bottled waters. Needed oxygenated for stabilization. This seems like basic stuff, but not really is it?

Funny how once the mind starts down one track and if ya think about things long enough, there's that DA moment. Or epiphany moment, I like that one better :D

Slag? Like coal slag? Sorry iam unfamilar w/ this.

Something to that nature, i have a post somewhere on the stuff that is in it. Ill have to dig it up for ya. I think its the left over stuff that comes off of steel and such when it goes through the hardening and refining process. Same with like copper and other minerals.

You are exactly right man, it is basic as it can be. Think about it, when water is moving either in a stream or in a bucket the water says clear and pretty much crud free. then take a look at water that has no movement, its nasty, full of funk, and usually smells. The o2 does more than just balance the pH, it also keeps the nasties from building up in the water.

Well I understand both, the ones from the coal mine(I was a miner in Wv) and the slag from metal. The slag from metal, correct me if I'm wrong, is impurities comeing out of the metal from heat. The coal slag is a shell/lime I believe. Yes I would like to read your article/thread. Thanx FD.
