I think it's PH, Nute burnt, you can water plain water these days. What're your ideas @The Mugwamp

Hi, more probably nute burn, as I figured out that this one was plant in CANNA terra, not biobizz, and for what I've understood, canna has more nutes than bio, but any more experienced thought it will be much appreciated.

Thanks and happy growing!

Are you using Cal/Mag? If not it could possibly be a Calcium or Magnesium deficiency :pass:

Hi,

I dont use calmag, as tap water is hard and after a quick search about it I find out this Calcium carbonate(CaCO3): 268 ppm , is not enough or I misleading something?

There a 5 babies running at the moment and only one is like this..
Should I add calmag ?

Forgot to mention, plant is 9 days from germination..

Thanks for your replies.

Sorry mate I thought I'd posted this already
To be honest I'm not sure wether you should add cal/mag or not with the Canna Terra or Bio Bizz. I've only grown in coco and I always have to add cal/mag to every feed and my water is hard too, also when I got my first LED light I was told you should always add cal/mag when using them, but that was the old blurple colour LEDs, not sure if it still applies to the new white lights. Maybe @MarshydroTina could answer that one
Also @Waira is a very knowledgeable chap and if he's got time, might have a more accurate answer for you :pass:

You are correct about the calcium in your water is contributing to the overall calcium load. The thing about pre-charged soils is the consistency can easily be off. The leaves look like calcium deficiency but I would think the opposite is true here. We have too much of something locking up the calcium. The first suspect is PH. Do you know the PH of the soil in the root zone? You need to get an Accurate 8 PH soil probe (or the clone) or a Blue Lab soil probe. If you go with Blue Lab be sure to get the correct one as they make several. Do not bother with any of the cheap ones as they do not work.

Other then that just water with PH 6.2 for a few days and see what happens.

If the mix was made poorly it can be any of these that lock out calcium?

Since the LED will produce less heat, the tent temp will be lower than MH and HPS growing, with less plant transpiration, so the LED growing should add more Ca and Mg than MH/HPS growing, no matter the burple LED or full-spectrum white LED.
