New Grower Help! TD seeds wont crack

I admit that I could be over-reacting seeing as I've never done this before but I've given my TD seeds 24hrs and there not cracking, I've moved them to the kitchen hoping with it being naturally a bit warmer they will respond, anyone got any ideas on what to do if they dont sprout tomorrow? I've put them in kitchen paper with de-ionised water in a covered saucer, did forget to do something?

Mine took over 56 hours to break soil, but I germ in soil directly..

Hello and welcome to the AFN. 24 hours is just barely enough time for most seeds. Most IME require 2 days minimum in a warm, moist, dark environment to pop. And they don't like to be fussed with either. Like checking them every five hours and moving them. Keep them still, dark, warm, moist and don't even check them except for moisture and leave them for three days and I bet you have sprouts.
