Help Please.

OH! I do work in landscaping .. Hum .. I did not think of that.
And the chances that a couple thrip cling onto you, to travel around and inside to end up on your plants vs getting the hell away from you would be?.....not saying it couldn't happen, but the chances of it are way the hell out there....but never hurts to keep it in mind.

I will definitely keep all this in mind from now on.

Main thing is.....Don't freak out too much, it's supposed to be an enjoyable hobby yet some people seem to get so stressed out about little things that would barely notice on a begonia......In my opinion, that ain't fun.. :baked:

I also need to buy a magnifying glass.
You can get a cheap one off Amazon that goes to your phone for 25-30 bucks... This is one I bought and works perfect...on sale too.

Looks like Aspergillus Flavus. Hopefully not, but it does look like it could be. I'd treat them with an antifungal like General Hydro's Exile, if it were me. Exile will kill insects and fungus.

Nothing on the underside of the leaves? That's a good spot for critters to hide and lay eggs... I've actually had thrips indoors before and you'll get dark shiny marks on the leaves before you see the actual thrips, so I don't think it's thrips. Possibly root aphids, but probably just nothing at all. You can cover all your bases though with a spinosad spray and a sprinkle of some mosquito bits on top of the soil and a couple of glue traps
