Problem:
the savage leaf curl, might be lock out to due to me over feeding causing nute burn?
Thinking it might be something to do with nitrogen and cal/mag. And that I wasn't checking the pH enough last couple of weeks and it was raising from 5.7 when first mixed up to 6.5 to 7.

Medium/grow method:
70/30 Coco perlite. 11ltr airpots

Feed: and supplements used:
Advanced nutrients Coco grow a Nd b. Ad van cal mag.

water source:
Bubbeling tap water.

Strain/age:
fast buds green crack. Blue berry X Cinderella 99. Day 31 above ground light 24/0. I also thought they were small forfthe age probs only 10" tall leading me to upping feed and maybe causing this. Lights 26" from canopy

light used: two 90 bridge lux Vero cobs

Climate: last couple of weeks since I added the drip dray the climate has gone from a good 23-24 degfres Celcius 60% humidity. (I'm in au) down to 20ish from all the metal ppendingon the day and high humidity of in the 80s thinking that might be the case

Additional info: I think I have covered it here is grow bio to see when it has started occuring

I noticed it starting probably 5 days or more ago and didn't think much of it then it has gotten fairly worse. I flushed 20lites of phd water through two nights ago and ressumed feeding at 1ml ltr. Don't look any better

Last week I upped the feed to 3ml ltr recommened for its age on the bottle. As thats what I was following lol and the cal mag at 2ml ltr. Mixing up 5ltrs at a time and ph down the 5.6-5.8. but remember I wasn't checking it some times for 3 days thinking it was still good and might have gotten high and caused this. As now I check it each feed it does rise quite abit in 12hrs. They were just getting 500mm a day with good run off till I guess 8 days ago I started 500mm every 12. Also

Pics taken today this is the green crack it's the one with more leave curl.

This is my bubbeling nutrients just check and ph rose from 5.9 to 6.4 in 12hrs I think not checking that and to much nutes might be the case

...:toke: ... so, you're doing drain to waste coco, are you going 15-20% run-off each time, and measuring pH and EC/ppm of run-off? Actually, I should ask if you have run coco before, and studied up on it's do's and don't's,... if you're treating it like true soil, it gone TARFU with the CEC and pH!.... What's your tap water like for pH and hardness (ppm or EC)? Odd that it's rising,... For sure that pH drift caused multi-lockout, mainly micronutes that I can see (fading at the top most growth), probably Zn, but most all get tight near 7.0,...
Flushing in coco needs to be done differently that other mediums,... coco has odd CEC properties (cation exchange capacity), involving mainly Ca,...mess with that and the coco starts to do weird shit sometimes! if you have to, use RO/Di water, with 150ppm Ca-Mg, plus another 150ppm nutes, pH to 6.0,.. pour through until the run-off is at or near input values,...

Yeh it was getting 20% some times abit more run off.
And no I haven't done Coco before this first grow, threw myself into the deep end haha.
But I have done alot of research on it I think I was doing ok till I upped it and lack of checking pH. Gone tarfu??

Yeh I thought it was odd to. I don't have a EC meter yet its on its way. Rookie error there.
Not sure of hardness either. But tap water pH is 7.2-7.4.

Ar ok yeh I didn't know of that and just flushed pH water thru them went back to a very light feeding.

Have a look in my thread I think we are on top of it

...water is probably OK for hardness at that pH... If it's very hard, the cumulative inputs of CaCO3 can start to mess with pH buffering and uptake of nutes,.... my coco guru's tell me the key to avoiding trouble is always monitor your input EC/ppm and pH, ditto for run-off,... that shouldn't be higher than 300ppm than inputs, and close to same pH,....
--TARFU = things are really fucked up :smoking:... SNAFU, TARFU, FUBAR all from the military I believe
