Live Stoner Chat Help me pick my reversal girl!!!

if you have multiple seeds of each strain I would reverse them all and pick the best from the bunch.
Or , if you have other strains you know you really like and want to keep, add them in the mix .
If I had the choice I would cross the 2 3BOG strains. The growth structure of both plants should create a nice balance between the two .
Just wondering , do you self the plant's? ( turn a branch male then pollinate the rest? )

This is a AFN ran test of an STS kit with several Cultivator members participating, The test stipulates to reverse one plant and fertilize another plant with the pollen.
What I'm gonna do:
Reverse one as stipulated by spraying a couple branches, the day she shows sex.
Reversing another, same strain, by injecting and spraying, the day she shows sex. Using this one to test the viability of injecting STS. This is my personal test and to show AFN for info.
Planting the girl to be pollinated, different strain, two weeks after the reversal girl.
I'll have to play it by ear with the reversed girls on where they will reside. They will stay in my 4x4 that will have photos. I can safely keep them there until I need to flip the photos. Most likely, they will go on the back porch after they do their deed. I will also hand pollinate them to make S1 seeds.
Your comment about the crossing got me to thinking. I have several other Meph girls that could be pollinated.

Ok . I get what you are trying to achieve. All good mate . Making new strains and seeds is a craft in its own .
There are a lot of " pollen chuckers ' out there with no clue what they are doing. I'm here to help anyone home in on what they want and need . Just making seeds is easy , but making consistent plants won't be achieved threw random pollination . It's ok if it's just for you . If you want to share you're seeds ? then it will cause unwanted feed back.

Yeah man. I appreciate the input. It's not a serious attempt at breeding. I currently don't have the room to actually do an in depth breeding project. with good size pheno hunt runs That could change when I build a growroom in one of the corners of my big shop. Hopefully lumber prices will friggin normalize soon. It will be fully enclosed with a mini-split for cooling and a propane heater for heat and CO2.
I'm just in my second year of growing canna, growing in containers and growing indoors. I've been organic all my life and sold my farm a few years ago where the plants and animals were all organic.
I've played with breeding some veggies, but my cattle breeding was pretty serious.
I do think your suggestion on the two Meph girls is a good one.
I really haven't looked or thought in depth, with breeding in mind, at the background on the Meph girls I have to see what level of pheno stability they have, other than Sour Stomper, that has a green and purple phenos.

I'm now watching your main thread, so if I have questions, I'll pick your brain there.

I had a Mephisto blue nuggets I have worked on to separate The purple skunk pheno from the strawberry pheno. 420autoflower has a tent of the gen2 NUGZ . It's the strawberry pheno I have isolated to make it.
Anything is possible with a little understanding.

I WAS gonna let the poll run until I got my testers for Autoseeds.com, but it's been sitting 8 days in Chicago! Damn tards! They were gonna be my nute test girls, so I'll just drop some gifted seeds as the testers. Hopefully they will eventually arrive.
Whatever is the winner this week when I'm ready to drop seeds, that will be my reversal girl.

Yeah, I forgot to update THIS thread. I accidentally put them in the wrong pot. Totally screwed up my entire grow, since I'm doing photos and autos.
Linda seeds got the nod with FatBlueBerry as the test subject.
One died after she was up. Here's the surviving 3 Bears OG X Double Grape a couple of days ago.

See.............she was supposed to be in a 3gal pot. LOL!
