Old Reviews Help me pick a new line, advanced, green planet, cyco, remo and emerald harvest

I started using AN pH Perfect Connoisseur Coco Bloom A&B when it came out a few years ago. Before that I used the regular/non-coco version. I can't compare it vs. the Sensi product line.

I don't recall ever seeing and can't say anything negative about AN pH Perfect Connoisseur Coco or the Connoisseur regular version. As I noted, the coco (cal-mag supplement included) part worked for me. For the few $ difference, why not go with the upscale Connoisseur (claims to be better, and I'm confident it is) vs. the mainstream/hydro shops' Sensi product line? [But again, I suggest giving new 2-part MegaCrop serious consideration too].

Yh I’ve heard the connoisseur line is quite good, but they don’t recommend it for beginners. So I’ll have too look into why that’s the case

thanks

AN hyping its top-of-the line base nute products as best for experienced growers is just bogus marketing hype, which AN is renown for. The Connoisseur base nutes are just a 2-part fertilizer like the others, used no differently. It just presumably has some better and additional ingredients, more recent R&D, etc.

It was a no brainer too be ho est too thi k one base is harder too use then another lol. Tgey say it's actually more better, so yh sounds good,

Yh defently amazing that your friend turned over too the Remo line, ph is a factor but if using soil, I think I’ll have a quick look and pour it in. hopefully it should buffer it out like.

It would be quite Intresting what your friend found appealing, about Remo bytes. As it’s a big step. It’s like leaving the bmw and jumping in Ferrari. I want the Ferrari of nutrients. I’m getting the jist. That there better but in what respect.

defo smash a diary link bro when you do on heat, so all off us can have a look. As this subject is one that must blunder every grower. We all want the best, let’s highlight the best too help everyone

If you want the Ferrari then I'd go with the Connoisseur from AN. No matter what nutes you decide on don't follow the nutrient calculators too much. AN is bad for setting the amount too high but so are most of them. At least at GreenLeaf for the MegaCrop nutes they explain at the bottom that it's just a guide and you should adjust your doses by how the plants react. In other words learn to read your plants.

I'm constantly growing a variety of strains so it's hard to dial in the needs for each. I'll feed at lower levels until I either see fan leaves yellowing and add more or tips starting to burn then back off.

I'm not clear about what that part means. I have a grow journal for some auto fems I'm trying outside and inside but over half have turned male on me. 5 out of 8 are definitely boys. Rather disappointing.

:peace:
