Help me choose between theese lights

Just going to chime in here. You're talking in cm yes? So a 3x3? I would always recommend getting the tent in a 4 foot dimension on at least one side. So what is that? 120 cm? Just seems to be more viable options when it comes to lighting IMHO. A 4x4 or 4x2 I guess. I suppose you could put a light rated for higher in there. Might be a waste, or you may upgrade to a larger tent down the line and be ahead of the game?

I'm a big fan of the 4 foot bar arrays and went with an Atreum 3 bar setup in my 4x2 and love the even distribution. Would really like to try a couple HLG in my 8x4 though!

Also yes, always better to go with an "oversized" fan in the tent.

This is my personal opinion, and is not influenced by my affiliation with HLG. When I look at a growlight product, having learned the hard way in the past..... to look closely at the specifications of the light. I'm looking for: brand of LED, PPFD, Efficacy, and brand of driver. I've owned some really shitty lights, so i've made it my business to understand the important specs. So the first thing that bothers me about the light you listed is the LEDs.
A quick search online found nothing about these chips. So my assumption is they are cheap, low end LEDs. I'm skeptical of their PPFD maps. I'll se if HLG has a PPFD map for the 300L Rspec. When HLG supplies a map, it comes from a lab that has tested the lamp via a sphere test and give very accurate results. The HLG light is considerably more efficient.

There are other great lights out there in this price range, I'd buy from ( if I didn't have HLG as an option.. ) ChilLed : https://chilledgrowlights.com/our-p...craft-x2-330w-led-grow-light-commercial-grade
or Growers choice : https://www.growersc.com/led

That said, the reason I took this job as forum rep for HLG, I followed these guys from the day they started building and selling light. They were just some guys on a forum. Their commitment to quality, and customer service makes them the best of the best IMO or I wouldn't be here!. However, the choice is ultimately yours.
Thank you for your thoughts.

Good input.
I went with the 3x3 because i Will be trimming inside the tent when its all done. My wife is not over the tops about me growing in the first place. Smell is a big factor for me. Also a 4x4 i feel would need alot more space in my given situation. Thank you for your 2 cents.

I hear you. It’s not a bad idea to keep it harmonious in the house. My wife wasn’t thrilled when I had an 8x4 land on the porch one day. But that went in the garage/ my little printing shop. She got used to it and wasn’t too weirded out when I put the 4x2 in my stereo room for summer indoor grows.

As far as your lights, you seem to have received some good advice already. Only thing I might add is to make sure that you go with a company that stands behind their products and will be there for you. If they have MAINLY an Amazon presence I might think twice. When I needed lights for my 8x4 I went the Amazon route and they’ve been fine. However, I have bought other components from there that ended up badly and have even had one “popular” light maker stalk and threaten me because I left an honest review on their faulty product that shouldn’t be sold to people that they continue to sell.

Lesson learned so when I wanted lights for my 4x2, I looked at makers that had less of an Amazon presence, but better support and reputation off of Amazon. If I hadn’t been so set on bar arrays, then I likely would have gone with HLG.

Hehe, i get what you mean, my misses and I used to smoke but after a few panic attacks she has no wish to smoke it anymore, which is Sad, but its her choice so I' ll respect it and also I'm happy she lets me have a plant or two as my side hobby. Thank you!

Thank you for your inputs here. Glad your wife is understanding aswell.

I am going for either the HLG or the lumatek attis because both have stores in my country that sells them. Probably ending up keeping the HLG. Equipment should be here over the weekend, and saying i am excited would be an understatement.
