Ok so the title can be a little confusing, but I'm starting this to let people share there experiences and success stories when it comes to stopping smoking tobacco. Others that are looking to quit can seek support from fellow AFN members.

Cheers!!

Going on one month here. None of the tricks or gadgets work for me, just had to up and quit cold turkey.

5 months with help from an E-cig :dance2: Barely touch the ecig anymore, only in desperate times of need :D

Just do it

If you're used to drink lots of coffee or alcohol, or hang on a bar drinking beer every afternoon, you might want to "lay low" for a while and get rid of the habit.

It takes some effort and commitment, but it sure aint rocket science

Its a big decision, for me I tried several times before with no luck. I'm 334 days with no cigarettes!! :D I had to quit cold turkey. No other way would work for me. I had to stay away from a lot of places I frequented because of all the temptation, and I was pretty easily angered for about a month. I had the good support of one person my amazing wife, and an application on my phone called Cessation Nation (keeps track of how many days you are smoke free, how many cigarettes you would have smoked, how much money you would have spent, etc)

With those two tools and a lot of self meditation on just being someone who doesn't smoke cigarettes, I managed to pull it off!! And what a feeling!! After a few weeks I could smell crazy details, taste all sorts of subtle flavors in my food. It was laterally like a new lease on life haha.

99.99% craving free!! Best of luck to All!!!
