Hi All, I'm just about to begin my first true run and hope to keep the momentum going.
I have just received a pair of custom spec Cidly Apollo 6s, my first leds, and I can't wait to run them.

I'm still trying to find a reliable, efficient, and low noise inline fan.

My tent is only 1.7'x3'x5' and will be in a closet of a room with next to no foot traffic, but i still want to keep things stealthy. I will also be using an accurate 8pH soil probe, carbon filter and a variac speed controller. I will Most likely get a Phresh filter too, since I've heard many solid testimonials.

After making rounds in the threads here and elsewhere I have narrowed the suspect pool to 3 fan series.
[h=3]S&P TD-SILENT Series - http://www.hvacquick.com/products/r...Booster-Fans/S-P-TD-SILENT-Series-Inline-Fans[/h]The S&P TD mixvent series : http://www.hvacquick.com/products/r...ine-Air-Booster-Fans/SP-TD-Series-Inline-Fans

and the

Vortex S-line fan

Can anyone offer any suggestions from personal use of any of these fans or any others?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

:smoke:I use the s-line in my drying area to move air around i love it zero exper. with the others ...i dry in a close, and with the door closed it made the sound from the fan seem worse (i can be overly paranoid sometime) so i put it in a box cut opening in both side then sealed each end and literately stuff it with socks and racks to fill all the voids in the box and im comfortable with it i purposely had people stand next to and ask if they here anything lol...i hope that helps good luck with your grow to my friend :goodluck:

I bought this ....Ostberg CK4C inline fan. 4" round duct connection - 181 cfm. from the same company. Good prices!
I emailed them a question on the better fan from the two I picked, and they were very happy to give their opinion.
Many of the fans now are brush-less (mine isn't) and speed controls are diff. types if you are gong to use one.
