Hello chums,

if you are a new grower, you are in the right place. So, top marks already! New to the forums ?

It can be confusing. I know, we all know. We were newbies once also. But AFN is here to help and advise and to have a bit of fun along the way.

It always helps if you do an introduction so that we can get a rough idea of who you are, where you are from (approx) and what are your ambitions regards AFN. Selecting an Avatar is also cool.

Click HERE to go to the intro section. I will be there to give you a warm welcome. And so will many other members. The more we share the more we learn and gain. Se you soon.........eP.

Right on. You know what would also help a looooot? Cleaning and managing therads, posts etc in a way so you know where to look when you need something. I don't wanna be a pain for saying this but it is what it is. For example: grow journals are EVERYWHERE. No telling witch is in progres or done, and not only...

I hear you dota2.

It is helpful if we take care to post in the correct section. Look around first and get to know the layout of the forum. Then select the correct place for your journal. Is it indoor or outdoor. Are you organic ? Or are you concentrating on LED's or maybe a greenhouse grow. Or do you just want to post your journal in the New Growers Section ?

It can be difficult as your grow may fit into more than one section. Just chose what interests you most and seems appropriate. If you want to get your post or journal moved to a different section, just contact a moderator such as myself and we will be happy to help. AFN is what we make it.

Enjoy your hobby. eP.

I hear ya, dota2. The one tool I can't live without is the search function at the top right of the page. The basic search will get you in the nieghborhood, but at the bottom right of the search window click "more" for advanced search.
It takes a bit to get used to it, but you can find dang near anything based on strain, grower, lighting, etc. Even by date.
 :peace:
