New to the site but not growing!
New to the new styles of growing though...
Last grow was about 10 years ago and i had no info on anything.
Just threw the beans in some soil and went blindly forward.
Actually turned out pretty good considering, if i remember correctly i had about 3 oz's from 5 plants and it was decent smoke.

Moving to now, i am currently growing 4 X Auto Bubbelicious from Nirvana in soil.
They were started in wet paper towels on the 28th October and sprouted the next day.
Today they are 3 weeks old and maybe a bit small still...
Getting the hang of watering and feeding down still!

They are under a 180 Watt BlackStar LED panel.
Temp - 20 Degrees C
RH - 60%
Using GH nute line as they came free with a WaterFarm.

I am hoping they grow better now that i am on a regular feeding schedule every two days.
Even if they take longer to finish, i am okay with that.

I will start a journal to plot my progress.
Must say that i am loving their smell!!!

Good luck. Your not feeding g them every 2 days with nutes are you?:smokebuds:
Honestly you shouldn't even have to water them every 2 days until there root structure gets bigger.

With nutes less is better mine get fed once a week with nutes and in between the feeds they get just Ph water.
Hope it all works out for ya.

Let me know when you start up your journal, maybe I can give a hand through it. :smokebuds: as much as I can.
note: I am not a pro yet though, but if I can lend a green thumb a long the way, it would be my pleasure.

There is so much conflicting info on the web it is hard to decipher what is correct these days...

I was watching a video the other day and they watered the plants every 2 days with 200ml of nuted water.
This increased to 400ml towards the end of the cycle with the last week using only water.

Then you read that when you water you need to get some run off water.
Some use nutes for every watering others don't.
For a noob it can get very confusing indeed!
And this is the first time i am doing an auto grow, so it is a steep learning curve once again!
And on top of that i am also growing some feminized regulars - Killing Fields, MadShack, Sannie's Jack.
They all started in Hydro but that did not go so well so only the Sannie's Jack is in a Waterfarm, the others were moved to soil.

I will start up a journal tonight with all the info i have written down etc...

Seedlings don't need any nutes. My girls are 50 some days old and they get watered every 3 days.
So many things to decipher through. It depends on the environment, temps, humidity how much water your plants will go through. You will grab the hang of it.
The bigger the plant the more water it will go through. lots of luck

Growing MMJ is a lot like life!
You have to try a few things out before settling on a final decision.
After a few grows i am sure it becomes a routine and you are able to foresee the results!

This is also the first time i am using LED's for growing.
I decided to go start to finish with only them to see the results, i may have to modify this for the next grow.

It's a journey and i am enjoying the ride!


PS- last time i grew i ended up with close to 7 foot trees! The closet was like the green Giants forest!!!
If these auto's turn out to be bigger than they are supposed to be i do not mind.
Either way i will be happy!

If you only water a little bit at a time, the lower levels of your soil will always be dry, yield and size will suffer, some varieties more than others. Learned this the hard way. It's best to water until runoff, then again when the pots feel light. There is no schedule for this, it depends on the size and appetite of your plants and on the pot size and soil type.
I know opinion varies about feeding, mine get 1/4 strength nutes the first few weeks. Experience will teach you what works best for you.
