How are you testing your starting water? If you have a proper EC meter that is calibrated proper and you get a 443 PPM reading that water is not fit to grow plants depending on the elemental profile. If your water is municipal you should be able to find a water quality report online. We are interested in the Hardness section and the Sanitation section.

Normally water that high PPM will become more acidic as it aerates so the water report may shed some light here?

Pictures taken in regular light would be helpful to us as well.
CaCo3 shows 97-267....I believe that's Calcium Carbonate levels. TDS levels reads 237-562...Thx again.

That is too much calcium to start with.
This chart shows in PPM/liter of solution and not EC . As you can see you are already exceeding the calcium needed.

Yeah just spoke with my girl at the hydro shop...she feels the water is the culprit as well...just ordered an R.O. unit and hope that will do it. Crappy private water company. Thx again I will try and post some pics and keep you all posted

Sooooo disguted...came home to find this scurby shit floating atop the water in my reservoir. Two girls are hanging tuff and two....notsomuch. I hope she gets that filter sooner than later.
