Hi AFNers.

I have a few plants at around week 4-5 of flowering. I have an underfloor heating system which has been on too high and caused heat stress only for the last week. I noticed some of the leaves are canoeing and growth has slowed, maybe even stopped. My question is will yield be diminished with heat stress so late into flower or will they resume now I've turned down the temp on the heat mat.

Much appreciated for any input

Hello! Technically the answer is yes.. Any type of stress or delay can hinder or effect yield. By how much, and whether you notice ir or not, are the unknown parts.

... we need more info mate, exactly what the T and (very importantly) the RH%, light and dark periods... light distance, type,... air movement,...
All this comes down to vapor pressure deficit (VPD), which is basically about how T and RH% relate to the plants ability to effectively transpire.. this moves water and nutes from the roots up,.. the more that's off spec' and impaired, the more of a shit-show you get which in turn will affect yield AND terpene content... Check out the reference section for the article and vid' on this, it will connect several dots!
