I ordered this keep it simple water only soil which claims to have enough nutrients to feed a plant for up to 6 months. For anyone who's ever used this water only soil, or any water only soil from amy brand, tell me what has your experience been like?

Most of wat I've seen is not the best for cannabis most are missing something buy wk2 or wk3 of flower I have made my own water only and had much better results also pot size has alot to do with it aswell for example 2gal and 3gal are hard to use bc it's just small I would try a 5gal or bigger to start with I also would be prepared to use nutes in my opinion a dry amendment like roots organic bloom uprisings and terp tea they make a grow version also super easy no mixing just sprinkle on top of soil and water in that's it. As for the specific brand you have I don't no anything about it but remember you will want a solo cup worth of seed starting mix so it has a chance to establish it's self also watch to see if there hungry that's the only real way to find out bc each plant is different it may work for one strain and not for another.

I don't have any experience with that brand. Although, I've been using a similar soil (Great Lakes) for the past two or three years and love it! I've never gotten away without having to supply some sort of supplements, so I guess you could say that claim of water only is Bu!! Sh!t. What I can tell you is that I use far less nutrients and have had great success with my grows!

What I find works best for me (when using water only soil) is somewhere between weeks 2-3 of Veg, I'll give them a half dose of Fish Sh!t Organic Soil Conditioner in pH balanced water. And I'll continue that, every other watering throughout Veg and into preflower. Once in full bloom, I switch over to a simple Compost Tea every other watering and that's it.

So in closing, water only? I'm not sure about that. Although I do know, that I'm spending far less time mixing, flushing and buying all kinds of nutrients, with great results!

I used great lakes water only soil also. I had success with it. I just bought a couple more bags today for my next 4 plants. The NL and BB in the back were 83 days.

Did you use any compost teas? I just switched to Great Lakes water only. My first is outside in a small green house, 7gal fabric pot, with automated watering through a filter. Its the best plant I've ever grown. Cant wait to see how it turns out.

I only used water on those two, I used tap water pH'd to 6.5ish with lemon juice. The current grow I am not adjusting pH. The two at the back are zkittles skunk in GL soil and the yellow one is northern lights in dirt from my back yard.

I use Gaia Green's 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 Extended Release Dry Amendments. Click my Signature and you'll see Amazon Links on the Overview Page of my Blog.
I use it with Soil, or Coco. never had any issues and I'm growing 20 plants with it atm

The twin Zkittles Skunk are doing great in the water only soil. Drinking over a half a gallon per day. I am surprised to see how light tolerant they are. They are getting 24hr light from an HLG 100 3000k @ 93watts and 12/12 of the Lab light @274watts. just a fun light experiment.

Water only should work fine, as long as your using enough soil. A 1 gallon pot will require added feedings. A 5 gallon should get you thru a 90 day run.

Old rule of thumb is 1 gallon of soil for every month of growth.a 3 gallon bag would be cutting it close.

Fantastic! I'm using 6.6 gal Autopots. That should do it.
