New Grower Hard water?

I always bubble and PH my water, i have a shitty ph meter and i make sure it is always between 6.5 and 6.8 on watering. I will get a PPM meter when i go to order a much better PH meter

One like the Hanna Combo I mentioned will do both pH and PPM.

I have hard water. If i don't use RO, I have to add epsom salts (Mg) and Calcium. My plants do better when I use RO water.I still have to adjust the pH on the RO water.

iv been using tap water for my current grow.. ppm are 250, ec is 0.5 straight from tap, i run bubbler through for two days to remove any chlorine before it go's into my nutrient tank.. so far i have had absolutly no problems and my grow is going very well..
how high are your ec, ppms??

Hey there's a thing called zero water. It's sold with a jug and filter and comes with a Tds meter to test it's ppms. It's a 5 stage filter that is better then a carbon filter alone and removes all impuritys. You can pour any water into it and it comes out at 0 ppm filtered water and taste great too. You would have to do some research to find out exactly how it works but that's what I use. It's a good way to get a free Tds meter too. I pour my tap water that reads about 160 ppm through it into gallon jugs. Test them all and they are always 0. Then I add my nutes, adjust ph and bubble it. Check ph again to be safe and use. Never had a problem.
