Been reading MrNiceSmokes fantastic MI5 grow and read that he gives a trim?

I suck at searching but have tried and failed, was wondering if theres any links you could link me to about haircuts :thumbs: Looks like MNS cuts all the big fan leaves off but would like to know why,when and how

Some trim, some don't. Depending on the plant I sometimes remove any lower leaves that are close to the soil and maybe some lower popcorn buds in close to the main stem. I do that mainly for better air circulation. Some just tuck the leaves out of the way so more light gets to the buds. Personally I prefer leaving all the fan leaves as the plant will feed off them in the last two weeks, using that stored energy to produce more bud.
