Cal Mag Additives
Calcium and Magnesium additives are specialized nutrients designed to compensate for deficiencies in most nutrient and fertilizer schedules. Calcium and Magnesium (often referred to as Cal-Mag) is almost always needed when using pure, distilled, or reverse osmosis water. Tap water almost always has an abundance of Calcium and Magnesium in it. Calcium and Magnesium are the most abundant minerals in tap water. The majority of the PPM, or EC reading, you obtain from a measuring device is cal-mag.

Calcium, an essential part of the plant’s cell wall structure, improves the absorption of other nutrients by the roots and their translocation within the plant. It activates a number of plant growth-regulating enzyme systems; helps convert nitrate-nitrogen into forms needed for protein formation; and contributes to improved disease resistance.

Magnesium also helps to activate specific enzyme systems. Enzymes are complex substances that build, modify or break down compounds as part of a plant’s normal metaboli This will give you an idea of the importance of cal/mag for all plants and even more so with cannibis during the flower stage.

Your plants look beautiful!!! Extremely full and green!!!! How many do you tend to run at any given time??

Weather has been on the up-and-up so this weekend, I'm gonna be sourcing out worms for my worm bin.. I may also buy a larger tote, as I think the ones I have won't be quite big enough..

:pass:

I also forgot to ask; which BHO tube did you get?? I know kinda off-topic, but I saw your post in the Bee Nails thread and wanted to ask.. I'm considering getting one to see if I can give it a try.. I wanna know if my Everclear extraction is better than homemade BHO for myself!!!

Thank you broseph. they are very nice looking indeed. depends but generally speaking its typically no less than a dozen at a time to 16 usually. and the nail looks neat. I have a small 1/4 sized or so tube. small one, perfect size for a single guy with smaller single runs for meds. the MBM extraction method and reducing is super potent. smoking it? eh,tastes like crap imo. BHO would be better for that but in a cap the reduction with tinc is gonna be hard to beat in that regard imo.

yeah if my back didnt disagree i would TOTALLY string up a net. I got one for that job but Im planning on doing a few photos after this round with a cpl dappled autos. then I might do a scrog that i can top and keep level and more even throughout :) Thank you bro!!
