Check out Google Earth beast. Find a logging road or something. Go for a virtual hike. Make note of the terrain an traffic. Then go for a hike in chosen area..when in the forest I look for areas I can see the sun shining down..all a case in point above

I have to stop the kids playing football at one end of the garden (the natural goal zone) because my weed can end up battered by missed goals. At least your foes will be four legged, watch out for Cougars tho - or don't take them hiking from the bar after a late night.

Yes they look really good G, how many hours of direct to they get this time of year ?
I'd say at least a good 14 hour direct if not more. A little more morning sun than evening. I will be doing some LST and trimming on the trees to give better exposure but I don't wanna mess the cover to much. Highly recommend southern slopes for guerillas. Can't wait to put the photos in next. Then the rain screen if I can figure it all stealth like.
