Lighting GROWNORTHERN The Manual.

I follow Tangs info for the most part ..well when possible ..I have 2 in flower 5 inches from the light..just got to watch out the footprint of the light is still covering the areas you need the brightest.Just so you know if they were to grow that tall..lol if that makes sense lol :2cents:

So 24 inches (60cm) from top of plant when its in the growth phase is alright then ?

This question might be better suited in the general LED section of this forum as it really is a general question for all LED users. Reason I place my post here is cause Im a GN0006 owner and would like other GN users input on this. Do any of you have more problems with cal/mag deficiency growing under LED compared to other type of lights? Have you grown both photos and autos under your LED lights?

Please check this link for more info.

I battled with on going cal/mag issues. You get them I believe under high powerd LED, but I have no clue why? Just makes the plants hungry for it. Iv seen organic growers suffer with it more than synthetic growers..

Calcium deficiency is something us LED growers have to live with,I have found some strains are worse than others and it always happens in late flower sometimes I can find there sweet spot and stop it like the BAMs but others like the 2 cheese I've just grown I couldn't find there zone BUT it has never locked out and stalled growth so it doesn't worry me it just looks ugly.

I guess foliar feeding with epsom salt past week 3 of flowering is out of the question, so I guess I need to invest in some cal/mag nutes like Sensical mg bloom then.

I've been doing some temperature comparisons today and an upgraded MS006 seems to run 2 degrees C cooler than a standard spec MS006 with it only raising room temp 1 or 2 degrees C above ambient, very impressive.
