Lighting GROWNORTHERN The Manual.

Safe bro I would go with 2 x 15l or 2 x 10l in that space under a MS0006 if u wanna grow more plants try 4 x 6l Airpots.

Thanks for pitching in man, how can I not take on board your advice after browsing your awesome results for months? ;)
4 does seems like a nice idea and I think I planned on it initially, I just thought the overall yield would be better from two bigger plants, I may be wrong! Maybe I can save the two 15L for when I have some experience under my belt..
Does anyone have any suggestions in regards to watering based on that limited info above from the local council? Ph down could be my biggest investment if I need it for every watering! Take it easy :)

The bigger the pots bigger the plants is usualy the scenario and you may find the PH of your water will come down when you add your feed,my water is 7.2 out of the tap and 6.5 - 6.6 after feed added.

My tap water is also 7.2.

I'm not sure how to use either of those things but I'm assuming you mix it into the feed according to the deficiency?
As I've not had a chance to check the ec or ph of my water I did a quick check online:

What do you think? Am I going to need bottle after bottle of ph down for every watering or can I just add my nutes freely (at diluted strength of course) thanks!

Why would you need all that ph consentrate? You only use five or ten ml to change the ph.That list of nutes from pal is to confussing for the average grower, just stick to the basics.

Yup that looks like mag to me. Especially the leaf where is runs down the edges.

You should see it clear within a few days to a week. What are your nutes and do you check ph and run off?( I don't - organic). If its low give them a little flush and in the last litre for yeah give some Epsom salts. Iv read somewhere that if your plants get a mag def they may get a calcium def later in flower, this did actual happen to me onto last grow on one of my plants. I not sure if this is completely true but it seemed fair.

And bro this thread is the manual for GN lights, maybe start a new thread in the GN section, before a Mod mentions it :D :2cents:

Cheers MR Kip! that looks identical to my ill leaves!

Hopefully the epsom salts do the trick!!

I do have a diary going ill stick my noob questins in there lol :check: - with regards to nuts, They have been fed small doses (2ml per litre) of Bio bizz Grow, although i haven't fed them since i potted up as i assumed the soil would contain enough goodness for a couple of weeks, also got some Bio Bloom for flowering..

The PH issue is realy confusing me tbh, some site say don't bother with PH in soil and some say its Vital?? I have a PH pen, Buffer up n down and calibrating fluid (buffer 4) Am i right in thinking i only need to ph test the water before i water the plants to ensure the ph of the water is around 6.5?

Thanks again Lads!

Peace!

Okay sorry man, I literally just copied the only info I had, not knowing which parts were relevant

Well i run a 4x4x6.3 and i use 2 GN-Ms0006 the spectrum is perfect ....if you read through i think opt light is 40watts per Square inch more is better ..but if u want to fill the tent i would do 4 or 3 min..the lens are to push the light out to give you more coverage area ..they are removable in case you dont need to fan out the light as you plant would need to be right under the light not much side light. think of it like a square on the floor at 90 u will get more light in the box the higher you lift compared to the other lens will give you light in the box yes but more outside the box. if that makes sense lol SO yea Go with the best GN and go with 4 you will be supa happy and grow supa Dank..good luck also be sure to go to GN site live chat box and talk to dan or Jerm they are the shizzle and can answer all questions on the spot..i wrote mine down so i wouldnt forget what to ask ..i had like 1000 questions lol

Hey y'all, hope you're keeping well. Does anybody have any tips about water storage? I'm considering buying a 100l water butt to store my tap water and just ph the amount I remove for each watering, is this viable? Sorry if its a basic question, just want to be safe!
