What's up guys.
I've been hearing some mixed reviews and how i should apply biobizz.
I'm running Growise multi purpose compost and using biobizz grow, bloom and top max.

I found a feeding chart but those only cover the nutes whilst using biobizz soil so i'm not sure what doseage i should be using.
I've also found people claiming not to PH the water when using biobizz as it kills the bacteria or something in the soil, Is this the case? Should i also be feeding them nutes every watering?

Any advice would be useful, thanks.

growise multi purpose compost is made up of what kind of soils bits and bobs ? has it got npk numbers or anything about nutes/slow release/enough food for 1,2,3 months or ?
guessing it has some built in nutes id err on the side of caution when feeding.
hmm a great big biobizz thread by duckcommander that i can never find has lots of good inputs from ducky woody Andi.
if you know your water/feed is within ph range, then theres no need to test/adjust ph up/down.
if something aint right in the garden.then a ph pen/and knowing water/feed ph is key.
tds meter ph pen.JPG avoid shit like this at £10
sad realitity is £60 ish is needed for a decent ph pen hanna/bluelab/apera
chemical ph up/down kills bacteria, natural ph up/down like lemon juice/vinegar etc is safe to use.but on that theory chemical cal/mag kills the good bacterias to.
feed them when they need it.feeding charts/shedules are only a rough guide.plants can be light/heavy feeders or be fast/slow finishers.
a chart IMG_5878.JPG a schedule schedule walter day 75 - Copy (3).JPG root juice/heaven scribbled out as they tiny bottle = big price, ran out-no difference, not buying anymore.grow scribbled out replaced by fish mix.
i feed everytime...saves me remembering if it was a feed, water feed or a water feed water.
good luck n keep er lit

Thanks for your help. It doesn't state whether it has any nutes init. It contains peat is all they say. Apparently it's a which award winner.

That's a link to it.

I've been PHing my water to around 6.2 and adding 1 ML of grow and top max every 1L of water, every feed as i was advised. No signs of anything happening, No obvious burns or deficiencies.

I'm thinking after this grow to just buy the biobizz soils aswell just so i'm 100% on doseage etc. What a pain!

probably a save the planet award because of the low peat value.............................bord na mona from the people that brought us peat briquettes.a heavy peat product thats inteneded to be burnt on an open fire.sounds very green to me.
my company has a wind turbine we have won energy awards.the same company that uses downlighters turned upside down used as uplighters.pointing straight up at a skylight.you may say hmmfp thats stupid having lights point straight up through a skylight.not as stupid as the company that turns the lights on,and not near as stupid as the company that handed out the award.

has some nutes, how much dont know.some soils say something like"no need to feed for first 3 weeks".or "has shit tons of bat/horse shit" maybe never need to feed.
biobizz lightmix £13 has practically no nutes,so everything comes outa a bottle from day 1................although a plant dont need much more than a wet ear first 10 days.
top max is a flower booster, although i use it wrong, never said i wasnt stupid.
good luck n keep er lit

Haha cheers bro, you can tell i'm new to this! i couldn't find that part about nutes, maybe i was slacking when i was reading. I might just stick to ph'd water for a while if the soil has nutes in then~!

If i buy biobizz lightmix, should i just transfer them all to that? take out of current soil, rinse roots and replant?

Cheers bro, this is my first grow. I look at others at the same time schedule and they are way ahead but i need to remember their setup will be 10 times better! I'm expecting to see a speed up once my ts1000 arrives because i'm under a phlizon 600 at the mo. Even the plants outside look to be doing a bit better lol.

So you don't bother PH your tap water? I fed mine today with standard tap water and no PH'd with the addition of biobizz grow so i'll see how that works! thanks bro

hell no.some folk say plant seed into final pot, some say never transplant,if ya have to be as gentle as possible.if ya dont have to dont.use up the soil ya got,and if y really want to try lightmix, try it next grow.
PH its important and not at all at the same time.
if PH is within range and ph is never checked never or altered.............then PH is still within range.
if PH is not known.and the tent/garden is growing great, then ph can be forgoten about as it must be within range.
if the tent/garden is not doing good.....you are wasting time untill PH is known.if ph is out then it needs fixed before thinking of +/- of nutes etc.
i have not adjusted the ph of a feed or watering in a year, with PH up/down..................i have tested plain water and feeds randomnly just to make sure im in the ballpark ph wise.
ph of plain water ?
ph of plain water thats sat for 24 hours ?
whats the ph of the mixed up feed ? only what the pot gets matters ph wise, but its interesting to see how nutes effect ph of plain water.
if your pen looks like this tds meter ph pen.JPG take the 3 batteries out and fire the shite in the bin.if ya spend less than £20 on a ph tester you wasted £20.bluelab,apera,hanna or forget it(£50-£120).sad thing is ya gotta spend £40+ on staorage solution, cleaning fluid,ph tester ph4 tester ph7 for the damn pen.

IMG_5878.JPG a schedule.many say its wrong as its for photoperiod plants not autos........schedule walter day 75 - Copy (3).JPG another schedule.many say a schedule is like a timetable and it should be followed, just like ya did when you was 12.shite double period of history.
i say they are both rough guides.maybe a starting point for you to come up with your own.
no two grows are the same so why should the schedule be any different ?

Hey mate, I've been using un Ph'd water for a few days. It's been hot in the uk and my tent has been sitting at about 26-27" in the day. over the past 2 days it has shot up, I topped it last week and it's shot up during this heat wave. It makes me wonder whether i should add a small oil heater to keep a constant 27 rather then the 20-22 or so i get.

My PH pen is one of those in the picture. With the recent goings on i can't really afford an expensive one seeing as i'm self employed and work has been dead for 4 months now!

I'm going to keep feeding them with tap water that's sat for 24 hours but not PH'd and if i have any issues i'll change tactic!

I appreciate your time and help my friend, it all helps! Take care.

im sure theres a perfect temp/humidity for each weed.....but if my cupboard is somewhere between 17-32 im not much bothered.now its about 23-30c.
when was the last time the pen was calibrated ? having had a yellow pen,id now prefare to work blind than think my ph was 8 and add ph down, only to discover pen was reading +2.my ph was 6 and ive just added ph down making it ph4,it was/would have been fine if left alone.
but we only find these things out after the event.
if plants is happy n healthy no reason to think ph is off.take any reading from pen with a pinch of salt.
bit of a silly question but...does yer kettle fur up ?
good luck n keep er lit
